Otro Mundo was the perfect band for our wedding reception. Before the actual day, Kevin (the band's contact) was friendly and down to earth, and accomodated our requests happily. They played the few special songs we asked for (ones they hadn't played before, I don't think), and they played our first song with a friend of ours singing the vocals! They were willing to practice with her just before the wedding to make sure it was just right. And when the time came for them to play... Our wedding was incredible thanks to their music! From the first dance to the dinner music to other special dances and the music while we all talked the night away! The volume was perfect, and the ambiance was beautiful, especially in the El Cortez ballroom. We had expected to have some salsa dancing, but my groom and I did so much socializing that they just played great jazz the whole night (with some great latin stuff, of course). The night was somewhat of a blur, but we do know that we are quite happy with our hiring of Otro Mundo. In fact, my husband and I keep saying that we get happier about our choice every time we think back on that night (two weeks ago)!

Orto Mundo was truly outstanding. Their music is fun, sophisticated,and professionally presented. Without a doubt, they made our little birthday party a night to remember. While they were a perfect backdrop to dinner when the time came to dance they kicked it up a notch and the dance floor filled with three generations of happy people. We look forward to the next opportunity we have to enjoy their talent.

Excellent sounds of latin jazz... I had a birthday party with about 150 guests in my backyard - everyone commented on how mych they enjoyed the sounds.

It was really great to have Otro mundo play at our wedding. The guys are nice and really talented and can play are range of different styles really well (jazz, latin etc.), even classical pieces for our ceremony. I highly recommend this band for your event. They make it really unforgettable evening!
