Reception Jazz was extemely easy to work with and they accomodated our song requests perfectly. They were on time, looked great, just the style we were looking for - sounded perfect. Our first dances were later than scheduled, but they stuck around until we were ready. Highly recommended.

Reception Jazz was great to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed hiring them for our event. THey were friendly as well as accommodating and they really enjoyed their job. The audience loved the band and we definitely will hire them again. I would reccommend Reception Jazz to anyone who's looking for a great time.

Reception Jazz played at our wedding reception, and our experience with them was fabulous from start to finish. During the planning stages, they were quick to respond to every email. They were efficient setting up and taking down their equipment, and the music was outstanding. I'd hire them again in a second, and highly recommend them. Last minute we decided to go with entertainment for our SuperTarget opening and we're very happy we did. Reception Jazz was able to play at our event with a little over a weeks notice. They were very accommodating and were willing to play in any area of our store. We had them right up at the front when our guests walked in and they had rave reviews. There are a few more Target openings in the next year and I've had many requests for their contact information so far. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Thanks again for everything!

I had a very pleasant experience with Reception Jazz. The last few weeks before the wedding, the owner confirmed with me that we were still on and that everything was good to go. They set up and began when they were supposed to, they fielded requests from guests, and overall just did a great job. My parents were really pleased as well. I'd highly recommend them!

It is hard to express in this brief feedback how amazing Reception Jazz is, but here is an attempt! Reception Jazz provided an outstanding performance at our wedding reception on June 23, 2007 at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN! During the reception, many of our guests remarked at how wonderful the music was as well as how nice it was to have music that was not so loud that one couldn't hold a conversation with others. Many people asked us "Where did you find them??" Furthermore, the band was in tune with the audience, accomodating requests. These three guys are extremely talented musicians, one guest even asked me if they have a CD. I would highly recommend Reception Jazz for any event to provide a unique, relaxed, and chill ambiance, along with providing high quality entertainment that guests of any age or music preference can enjoy. If you're looking for an alternative to a DJ, this is the way to go! -Sarah & Greg

Reception Jazz was wonderful! They added an awesome dynamic to our wedding. It was exactly what we were wanting and more. I remember talking with them before the wedding and they said that they like to create an ambiance that accomodates those that just want to listen and have music playing in the background as well as those that want to dance, and that was exactly what it was like. It made our reception very classy yet comfortable. I would definitly recommend Reception Jazz. Thank you for your service!!

Working with Reception Jazz was a great experience from our first phone call to the final note they played. Scott was very helpful in understanding the event and our entertainment needs. At they event, the group performed very well, adjusting to the needs of our guests and the party dynamics. They had a great sound and added a nice energy to the party.

We were absolutely thrilled with the performance of Reception Jazz at our wedding. From the just the piano at our ceremony to the trio at our reception, everything was excellent! I found reception Jazz through the gigmasters site and after reading a number of reviews for a number of Jazz bands in the Minneapolis area I selected reception jazz to play at the wedding. They were great at teh wedding, new all the songs we wanted to have played and keep the reception going throughout the night. They even offered to play an extra set at the end of the night for no extra charge but unfortunatelly the venue would not let them. They helped make the wedding day very special indeed and I would recommend them if you are looking a great Jazz band in Minneapolis for your next event.

Reception Jazz was absolutely amazing!! Working with them was so easy and enjoyable from the first time they contacted me to the end of our wedding reception. They were talented, professional, on-time, exquisitely courteous and get 5 stars across the board. Unlike the atmosphere of a DJ, people were able to enjoy dancing, listening, and having the music as background to conversation. They contributed to create an atmosphere on our wedding date that we will never forget and will always be cherish. Thank you very much for making our reception so memerable!!!
