Three days before Christmas, our Christmas dinner went from 8 to about 30 people. I signed onto GigMasters with no expectation of finding a pianist available very last minute. I read about Michael, clicked on his name and Poof! I received a very timely response. Easy going, witty, fun and great with children too!! So lucky he was available, and he played a wonderful repertoire of music for our family and friends. Thank you Michael - you made our holiday dinner party a Christmas to remember.

We've hired Michael twice now, both times for Christmas parties. On both occasions, he arrived early and performed beautifully. His music really enhances the ambience and adds to the festiveness of the event. I'd recommend him without hesitation.

It was lovely working with Michael. We had wanted to do a Dracula Pianist, and I was prepared to do his hair and makeup, but he arrived with most of it already done! Saved us time when things get hectic as a party is getting underway. Very professional, talented, and easy to work with!

Michael is a delight to work with! He arrived early so he could start exactly on time and was flexible about staying later if needed. Throughout the evening, he played beautifully, incorporating many - if not all?! - of the pieces he and I discussed beforehand. He is a true gentleman and has a heart of gold. No questions asked, ANYtime I need another pianist, I'll have my fingers crossed Michael is available!

This is the third time I have hired Michael to thrill one of our clients with his amazing virtuosity on the piano. Once again, I am totally delighted with the professional ethics AND talent that is the joy of working with Michael. He never disappoints; as a matter of fact, he just gets better and better. This gig was a demanding one, for a very particular client, and Michael not only showed up looking great, but his talent AND his personality won the day ... all THREE days of the event in this case. WOW!! Honestly, this couldn't have worked out better. If you close your eyes and imagine the talented, classy, iconic piano player that you'd cast in a movie - Michael would be the guy. I had a tough gig that involved an uncertain schedule and demanded some flexibility, and Michael was a true joy to work with. What a class act. I will definitely be hiring him again and would highly, highly recommend!

Michael was fantastic! We had a very small, informal, intimate dinner party for the holidays. Michael was EXTREMELY accommodating last minute, given it was Xmas Eve. He was flexible with requests and played for several hours. Brought his own equipment, set up and took down. I would definitely recommend him again (and have).

This is the second time we've had Michael play for one of our events because he did such a great job that first time. Well, this time, he was even better! It is very apparent that Michael absolutely LOVES what he does. He combines being extremely talented and professional, with also being sweet and accommodating. This occasion was a little more informal, and therefore ideal for Michael’s natural sense of humor to take off: it was a BIG hit with our guests! We were all laughing and singing, making this party a HUGE success! Bravissimo, Michael, and thanks to GigMasters as well!

On the classical & theoretical aspect, he is competent but he is not verse on playing top 40 songs to accompany. Although he is a very amiable person, he should practice a bit more to be an accompanist to singers and not just rely on music sheets.

I'm always glad to receive constructive advice, and I certainly welcome input from my valued clients. 'Tho I am not, and never have been, a "Top 40" player per se, I'm always eager to accommodate requests. The sheet music is, of course, there as much for the benefit of the singers as for the accompanist. It's just standard performance practice. For my solo repertoire, of course, I have literally hundreds of songs memorized. Again, constructive criticism is always welcome, but most folks will agree this is totally a "non-issue"! So, Nancy, everybody had a GREAT time because you crafted a lovely event, and your friends greatly appreciated it. Take care...
