Don't hire! This group never replied to my calls or e-mails before they came. They arrived 15 mins late without calling and I thought they weren’t coming at all. They could play good music when they weren't arguing. They didn't have the mike ready at 7:00pm. as I had requested.. One of them left for 10 mins. trying to find it. They were packing up to leave at 7:30 after playing from only 6:00 to 7:00! I told them that they were hired for 2 hours of music I am not used to having performers grumble in front of my guests or playing for so little time when contracted. I had expected a professional group but instead I got some "subs". Don't hire these guys!

Mario and team did a fantastic job for the Arroyo Middle School Family Fiesta event! They are very talented musicians and set a fantastic tone for our 450 person community building event. Right volume, professionalism, energy. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

We couldn't be happier with Trio Sol De Mexico!!! Music really is the heart and soul of any event and these guys did a fantastic job!!! We gave Trio Sol only 2 days notice for our little backyard party with a Fiesta theme. They also accommodated my last minute request to adjust the time. They showed up looking polished and professional in their authentic mariachi suits that were clean, pressed and looked new. Most of our guests love to dance and until our party they hadn't been inspired to dance in YEARS!!! Their voices are soft and smooth and their repertoire includes all the classics as well as several contemporary songs in a mariachi arrangement. LOVED LOVED it!

We decided not to hire this band due to a lack of professionalism. Mario was extremely unreliable and not very friendly over the phone. I was frustrated so I wasn't pleasant either. They called and basically cancelled and then called the day of the party and asked if they were still booked for the event. They need to be more organized and communicate better amongst each other.

Hired them, paid the deposit. Trio sol de Mexico NEVER SHOWED UP, called, answered my calls or made a call back. So unprofessional. Huge mistake to ask them to help surprise my mother in law at her 50th birthday party. Please save yourself the headache I experienced with them, don't book them! Wrost experience ever!

This was an extremely unprofessional experience. We booked the Trio a few months before our wedding reception. In the several weeks before the wedding, they didn't return multiple calls, e-mails, or text messages. On the day of the wedding, just two guys showed up-- not a Trio. I understand that things can come up-- however, our contract with them (which they drafted) provided that they would find a substitute if one of them became unavailable due to any "unusual or urgent circumstances." That didn't happen. To date, they have offered us no explanation, apology, or partial refund.

In all honesty, I cannot review Trio Sol De Mexico for their performance. They did not show up for my party because they had a "medical emergency". They were supposed to be at my party from 5PM - 7PM. I kept waiting, and around 5:50 I sent a text asking if they were coming. Around 7:45 I got a text back saying they had a "medical emergency" and if I could send them the details for my party. I simply responded that my party ended at 7. I was very disappointed because they were to be the entertainment for the dinner portion of my husbands 50th birthday party. Medical emergencies happen, but I feel it was handled very unprofessionally.

I want to thank you for taking the time to write your review. I apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused you. I hope that emergencies like this don't happen again, but if they do I will make my best effort to handle it in a more prompt and professional manner. Mario Hernandez

Had booked from 2:30-4. Got a call at 11 am asking if they could show up 15 minutes earlier (2:15-3:45). I told them it was fine. They call me at 1:45 pm saying they were here already. The party started at 1:30 so only about 10 guests had arrived. They performed from 2:15-3:20 (including setup). Not only did they not perform the full 1.5 hours but he tried to say the amount I was quoted seemed to low and incorrect. I showed him how much he quoted and I paid him. They are good artists but definately not professional. I would not hire them again.

We arrived 30 min. before the start time. Since she wanted us to walk in playing, she and another family offered to take our equipment to the site. That forced us to set up after our initial surprise Mananitas and Birthday songs. Set up only took us 10 minutes. We normally set up before we start but we modified it in order to meet their needs. We played for the 1 1/2 hour without a break and even allowed her Mom to request one additional last song. By the time we finished not more than 15 guests had arrived. We were even ASKED to play for an additional hour. It's NOT our fault that her guest did NOT arrived at 1:30 or by 3:45 when we stopped playing.

Trio Sol De Mexico was everything I wanted for my party, and more! They played every single song that I had requested, and accommodated requests for songs we wanted to sing. Their appearance was wonderful and professional, and they played wonderful music which was danceable and beautiful to hear. I could not be more pleased with this trio-- they were a dream come true, and the highlight of my 70th Birthday Fiesta! I would hire them again in a minute. They were downright fabulous!

Trio Sol De Mexico were amazing! I hired them to perform during the ceremony and reception at my wedding and they did a phenomenal job. Manuel, the leader, was extremely receptive to all of our requests and made both my wife and me comfortable trusting them during the wedding. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

They were on time, actually arriving prior to the time agreed upon but they only had two of the three people in the group. They did offer $50 off and promised to put on a great show, which they absolutely did. I am so happy that my mom was so happy and pleased with their performance. I would definitely hire them again.

Trio Sol de Mexico was booked for an event today and they did not show up, return calls, return text messages, or return emails. Very disappointed as we had zero notice to get alternate entertainment for an event with 180 people.
