We strongly recommend booking Josh & The Empty Pockets. In fact, start here with your wedding budget and make cuts elsewhere, because they are worth every penny and made such a difference in the life of our reception. We had booked the band based only on Gigmaster reviews and video snippets, and were blown away by their talent. Best decision. Had a packed dance floor and a high volume of compliments on the band. We agree with an earlier review, that we would get married again just to enjoy this band with our friends. They honored our special requests and management made process easy. What can we say, every part of our day was impeccable because of the work done by all members of The Empty Pockets. Their energy and dedication to making our day a dream come true was always their priority. Every single family member was amazed by the performance. Sam and I wish we could get married again, only to have them play for us again. Wouldnt change our choice for anything!

Josh & The Empty Pockets were amazing and the best decision we made for our wedding. They were definitely the hit of the night and we are still getting rave reviews on how much fun all our guests had. We had so many complaints from our friends and family of sore feet the next day from dancing so much. Erika was so helpful in the planning process; she sent email reminders and helpful tips for the dance part of the evening. Josh was a fantastic MC and was accommodating during our dinner and dance schedule. We highly recommend them to all of our friends and family who are looking for a band. The Empty Pockets were the highlight of our wedding. They went above and beyond when it came to accommodating our requests - they did a funky version of "Call Me Maybe" for us, adlibbed some Backstreet Boys to spice up a bridesmaid's speech and let the groom take the stage for the most romantic moment of the night - and were easy to reach via their manager Adam. We can't tell you how many guests raved about the band and asked where we found them! We have a feeling there will be more wedding business coming their way. Thank you, Pockets!

The Empty Pockets were AMAZING for the wedding reception. Erika is great to work with before the event to make sure everything goes smoothly. You won't have to worry about them AT ALL on the big day which, when you get there, is much much much appreciated. Besides the logistics, they sound awesome!!! All my family and friends commented on their sound and everyone had a great time. Josh was a great MC during the wedding, keeping the timing of the event going. Can't praise these guys enough and I highly recommend them!

Josh & The Empty Pockets were terrific to work with over the course of our wedding planning. Erika was very responsive and helpful with all of our requests.
Their performance at our reception could not have been more impressive! Josh was a great MC and the band was a ton of fun. They are the main reason numerous people have told us we had the best wedding ever. I gave their nformation to numerous friends looking for a wedding band and I hope that they use them.

Josh and the Empty Pockets are the BEST! Everyone's been commenting for weeks since our wedding about how fabulous the band was. The jazz set they did during dinner was sexy and classy and such a nice touch. The dance sets were absolutely rockin - they read the crowd and kept everyone dancing and happy. We had a special request to have them do a medley of our parent's "songs" and they said no problem and put together an awesome medley. Josh as an emcee was awesome. Everyone loved him and everything was so smooth... Erika's communication was so great through the whole process...very easy and comfortable and thorough. HIGHLY recommend!! THE BEST! THANKS GUYS!

They were AMAZING...laid back and funny. Our party guests kept tweeting all night about how fantastic the band was. I'd seen their video clips, but they were even better in person and played a wide variety of music. I will definitely look for occasions to hire them again.

Our wedding reception was absolutely AMAZING and that was all due to Josh and the Empty Pockets! Can not say enough good things about Josh and the Empty Pockets. They had to drive through a blizzard to get to our reception and then put on a great show. Wonderful music. We hired Josh and the Empty Pockets for our October, 2010 wedding...and I'm so glad that we did! We received nothing but compliments from our guests, and they completely tailored their music selections for our wedding theme. They are willing to learn up to 5 songs for an event, and I thought their covers of the songs were good. Now our friends are telling us that they want to book Josh and the Empty Pockets for their wedding!

I can't say enough to explain how pleased Kari and I are with Josh and the Empty Pockets. They learned a bunch of new songs for us, customized the play list, and did our grand entrance for the wedding party. We are still getting many compliments from wedding guests as well as our vendors.
