Charisma made planning the music for our wedding stress-free. The music that was played was perfect for our friends and family. We weren't expecting people to dance so much but the dance floor was full from start to finish! The music was such an important part of our reception and Charisma made our wedding night memorable. We would recommend this band to anyone - they were professional and outstanding!

Booking Charisma was one of the easiest decisions we made in the wedding process. We had attended a wedding with Charisma in September 2012 and were blown away, and knew right away that they were the band that we wanted for our wedding. So it was not surprising that they did a excellent job at our wedding as well. The acoustic guitar during the ceremony was beautiful, and then during the actual party, they had everyone dancing! Thank you so much Charisma, for helping to make our day so special!

Charisma was absolutely awesome!! My wife and I live in New York, and knew we wanted to have our wedding in Long Beach, NY at the Allegria hotel. We found Charisma(through gigmaster) and read all of their fantastic reviews and listened to their songs online/via FaceTime and decided they where going to be amazing for our wedding. They did not disappoint! The MC, Marie, was amazing to work with and was incredibly responsive via e-mail. All of our guests were out on the dance floor! After the wedding, everyone kept telling us how impressed they were with the band. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to use Charisma, and we would recommend them to anyone!

Charisma was awesome!!! They learned 2 new songs for us, I finally found someone by Brian Adams and Barbara Streisand and Come to Me by The Goo Goo Dolls. They played them flawlessly, I thought brian and barb were there with us.. Charisma kept the party going with many requests from us and the party and sounded great. They even helped my dad to sing songs of his choice. Overall,an fabulous time made possible by great music.

We cannot recommend Charisma highly enough. We heard them play at an open rehearsal, and so we had high expectations, but they exceeded our expectations in every way. They sounded incredible, and they helped keep the reception running smoothly from start to finish. Our guests never left the dance floor. We have received so many compliments. Hire this band!!!

Charisma thoroughly enjoyed entertaining at this wonderful Sunday afternoon wedding, and we received compliments from many of the guests. However, there's a good reason why this review differs from all our other reviews - most people were much more interested in talking than dancing. We played something for everyone and delivered our usual high energy performance, but this was a tough crowd! Nevertheless, we enjoyed playing (as we always do), and for those who did appreciate Charisma, thank you for dancing!

As a band, they are great musicians. They played for our wedding and were on time and set up went smoothly. However, Charisma treated the night as their personal concert instead of listening to the requests of the bride and groom which were laid out ahead of time. They actively defied requests from me- the bride- and the wedding planner, made announcements they were told not to, played almost none of genres of songs we told them we liked, and completely ignored my ONE requested song until they were cleaning up and I had to remind them to play it, at which point they did at a barely audible volume. They had an agenda and stuck to it regardless of the established plan.

This review is so strikingly different from the 112 other highly positive reviews posted. Addressing a few of the most critical points: 1. We would NEVER treat an event as our "personal concert". Our goal is to keep people dancing and having fun, and play music they enjoy. 2. We did not defy any requests. However, certain family members engaged the band while we were playing/singing, which was highly disruptive. 3. The one requested song, "Monster Mash", was communicated to us only 4 days prior to the event. Incredibly, during our break, one groomsman approached the band and apologized to us for the behavior of the family. That alone speaks volumes, in our opinio

Charisma was the best decision we made. Almost all the guests kept talking about how good the band was during and after the wedding. They are super easy to work with an overall a 10/10 experience. I kept saying all night “we’ve got it simple cause we got a band.” Charisma took our requests bruh before and during the show as well which was awesome. Set the gearshift for the high gear of your soul and let Charisma keep everybody dancing and having fun all night long!

Marie and Mitch (and the rest of the band) were amazing, accommodating and simply fabulous to work with. Planning a pandemic wedding wasn't easy however their understanding and support throughout the process was all we could have asked for.
