Current Invention was absolutely amazing at our wedding reception. Words cannot describe how much everyone enjoyed their music. They are very talented - each member and they were all excellent performers. My wife and I did not have a chance to hear all of them play before our wedding so it made it even more special to have them turn out to be such a great band. They kept everyone dancing and we can honestly say that their energy and sound made for an evening we will never forget.

Current Invention was absolutely wonderful, we could not have asked for anything more! One of my first memories at the reception was dancing our first dance, realizing how wonderful the song sounded and looking over at the band and they looked so happy! Like they were having as much fun as we were. They even learned three songs for us and all of them were fabulous! And they kept people dancing all night, it was a blast and would not have been the same with out them!!!! Thank you Daniel and Current Invention, we owe you one!!!

Everything was absolutely great with Current Invention. From the very beginning they were helpful with providing information to how the reception would flow, the progression of music in the sets, and listening to what we wanted for music. They asked for any special requests we had for the first dance and father/daughter dance, and the songs sounded great. This was one of the major things we wanted at the reception was a live band to get people dancing, and they did exactly that. Thanks a lot!!

The members of Current Invention were terrific! They were very accommodating, and I had several guests ask where I found the band, and complimented the band highly. They had even the toughest customers out on the dance floor! I would highly recommend them to anyone, and would definitely use them again for my special occasions! The whole Current Invention crew was amazing. We dealt with Daniel in setting up the event, and he was incredibly professional and accommodating. They played amazing wedding music and had no problem playing special requests. They sounded great and kept everyone dancing until the very last song. We would highly recommend Current Invention to anyone else who is looking for a wedding band in the greater NC area. I can't think of a single negative comment to make about the band's performance, which speaks volumes.

I hired Current Invention for my daughter's wedding reception and they were FANTASTIC!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for a top notch band. They did a great job of providing elegant background music during dinner followed by great dancing tunes which kept everyone on the dance floor! I will definitely use Current Invention again!!!

I scheduled Current Invention for my brother's wedding. Their skill level is fantastic. Their sensitivity to what styles and what kind of energy would be best as the night progressed was perfect. They were easy to talk details with, extremely flexible and a pleasure to do business with. I was especially impressed with how skilled they were with playing jazz. I was blown away by their renditions of Miles Davis's "Footprints" and Pat Metheny's "James." Their rock, R&B and motown really kept people dancing and held the crowd's attention throughout the night. Book them today!

Current Invention was the perfect band for our wedding, providing an assortment of musical styles that included jazz, rock, and rythym & blues. While many bands advertise a vast catalog, this band truly has the talent to flow seamlessly from one style to the next, never missing a beat. From the cool flow of Miles Davis during an elegant dinner to a rockin' version of Love Shack, these guys blew the top off our wedding and left everyone wanting more. And in their accommodating style, they came back for an extra set to make the evening that much more special. They were a joy to work with, especially thanks to Daniel Barber's engaging personality and professionalism.

Fun, enthusiastic, and stylish, I would highly recommend Current Invention for your next party or function. Daniel and his cohort of talented musicians brought just the right amount of class and energy to our wedding on Cold Mountain. These guys have a knack for knowing just the right song to play at just the right time, and were able to keep the flow of the evening in perfect order. Every bride and groom wants their guests to have a blast at their wedding and C.I. made sure of it. From my 85 year old Grandparents to my 3 year old niece, C.I. was able to get everyone on the dance floor to enjoy the celebration. Don't think twice, book Current Invention!

Daniel Barber and "Current Invention" were a wonderful choice for our wedding reception. We could not have been more pleased. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, energetic and talented dance band. From booking to contract administration to set-up, sound check and performance, Daniel made everything go smoothly. We never worried about a thing. CI has a lot of varied talent displayed in their musical selections. What's really interesting is their ability to "read the crowd", make their selections, and time them as to how the event is unfolding. Our guests are still talking about the great time they had on the dance floor!

These guys were just awesome and I can't recommend them highly enough. Extremely talented, great selection, really good at reading the crowd and keeping things at the right level. I didn't hear everything I had requested prior to the wedding, but the stuff they did play was more appropriate to the energy level we wanted. If you put your wedding reception in their hands you will not be disappointed!

We had the most remarkable experience this past weekend while attending my daughter's wedding. The events culminated in a reception being held at the conservatory at the Biltmore where Daniel Barber and Current Invention performed. They are lots of fun and worked to meet every need of our diverse group of guests. They are fantastic in terms of professionalism and talent and they are genuinely nice people. After I heard Current Invention for myself, I had to have them for my Wedding Reception. This group is extremely accommodating when it comes to requests. They interact with the party and become part of it. Their performance rated in my view, right up there with the original performers of the pieces they play.

Current Invention was the band for our wedding reception and they MORE than satisfied our expectations! They adapted well to the crowd's mood as the evening progressed which made for a truly fun evening. They were really great! Since my daughters wedding was a destination wedding and we were unfamiliar with the local talent we really had to depend on Gigmasters rating system and the general feeling I got from just talking with Daniel Barber of Current Invention. I was not the least bit dissappointed. Daniel listened carefully to what I was looking for and tailored the band to our needs. His follow through and attention to details were outstanding. Everyone raved about them and the female vocalist was sensational. If they are good, a live band makes all the difference (the dance flour was packed) and for what we got the money we spent was well worth it.
