Daniel and the guys (and girl) from Current Invention did an outstanding job at our wedding. From planning the wedding to playing that night, they got it all right. They were EXTREMELY easy to work with - flexible and understanding of all the other stresses we, as the wedding couple had going on. They made the music for our wedding one thing we didn't have to stress about. All of this, not to mention, they are a GREAT band. Song selection and musical talent was outstanding. All of our guests raved about how good the band was!

We thoroughly enjoyed Current Invention at our wedding! The band was great song wise, playing our requests and able to pick songs that matched our taste. They kept our guests happy and on the dance floor for the entire night. Daniel was great in meeting with us prior to the event to make sure the band knew the schedule and certain songs and announcements we wanted. They were also able to play our ipod song through their sound system which was convenient. We would highly recommend Invention to any wedding party.....and to make it even better, get a horn player too.

Daniel Barber of Current Invention performed solo at my birthday party. My party was a small group of about 40 friends and Daniel was very accomodating, professional and easy to work with. I would definitely hire him again and will recommend him to my friends. It is obvious that he loves music and loves performing! You will not be sorry if you hire Daniel or Current Invention for your event!

I highly recommend Current Invention. The band played for my wedding, and everyone absolutely loved the music! They have an amazing repertoire of music- light jazz, latin, and dance music. For our dinner reception, they set the tone with light jazz background and worked their way to dance music later in the night. The energy and the music had everyone up and dancing, and the band graciously took all requests throughout the night. I found the band to be very professional, highly talented, and very easy to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend this band to anyone.

Very willing to learn new song. Had lots of contact with band and felt very comfortable with them. They looked very professional and did a fantastic job keeping the crowd dancing the whole till the end. It was well worth it to have them come from Asheville, NC to knoxville, TN for our wedding. Highly recommend them, awesome.

Current Invention was a great band to book from my wedding. We had such a great time. They were able to learn a song that I requested and played it with great ease. During the reception everyone kept asking "who is that band...they are great".
The band was so prompt and did a great in setup and preparations.
I had not heard Current Inventions in person until the day I heard them at my wedding receptions. I was very impressed with the quality and variety they offer. They made the reception so special from my husband and I.

They' re real musicians, plain and simple. Not a special category of wedding musician....although you can dance to them if you' re 12 or 80... and, they actually sound better live than in the demo on- line. And, they are good people....You would be missing a lot if you didn' t hire them for your party. I had a diverse group at my daughter' s wedding and everybody said they were the best they had ever heard. They were just a natural part of the equation. Thank you all, Current Invention, for your professionslism and talent! We' ll see you at the reunion next year?

Daniel, Paula and the band did an outstanding job at our wedding ceremony and reception. Daniel and Paula sounded fabulous during the ceremony and then rocked it out for 5 hours at the reception. I highly reccomend hiring Current Invention for your event as you will not be disappointed!!!
