First of all James arrived 15 minutes late to my wedding ceremony. He was also illed prepared. He did not have proper equipments to accommodate our venue. It was over all disappointing. He didnt bring any lighting equipments that he said he would. Second of all as our DJ he botched our first dance! He didn't even give me enough time to get out of my seat. B the time we make it to the dance floor, we were 20+seconds into our song. He is super clueless! He didn't play the songs we asked him to play he pretty much is in his own little world. Do not hire this guy!

Several problems occurred at the gig which led to the overall dissatisfaction of the client. In my defense, I had no control over many of the issues that emerged. The reasons for my being late include: 1. I was stuck in traffic on the way to Orlando due to an auto accident. 2. Inclement weather 3. Miscommunication with venue staff. There were supposed to be electrical outlets provided at the ceremony site but there was not. The dance floor lights that were used are the same that are pictured on my website. I did my best that I could given the circumstances. The client was not fully satisfied and therefore was given a full refund. Please contact me for more details.

James was amazing. He learned two requested songs and absolutely nailed them. He was beyond punctual and extremely professional from start to finish. I had asked that he play for maybe 15-20 minutes after the service while we were having pictures taken, and by our best approximation he played for about an hour. ?? He was easy to communicate with prior and exceeded our expectations. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

We booked James on short notice, so we were happy the timing worked. He was always quick to respond to emails with any questions we had. He even met us the day before the ceremony to play some songs for us and to help us decide on final decisions. He was very friendly, thorough, and professional. He did a fabulous job at our wedding ceremony and many friends asked for his info b/c they would love to hire him later at their own events. You can't go wrong with James...he was great all around.

James (AKA Smoove Jimmy) was the BEST!!! His professionalism, talent,and accommodating and kind personality were all extremely impressive. He played acoustic guitar and sang for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, then DJ'ed the reception. It was all absolutely perfect and so much fun. We had multiple guests compliment James' music and state that it was the best wedding music they have ever heard. He simply went above and beyond- learning a new song for us, playing my parents' wedding song and creating a special moment for them, and playing the perfect balance of music all night, keeping the dance floor full until the very end!

We also asked if we could go over the allotted time, which, he had no problems with as well. The music he played was outstanding and his professionalism impeccable. Our experience with James from start to finish was excellent. All comunications were done in a timely and professional way. He is a very talented guitarist and vocalist with a huge and wide ranging repertoire. I know we enjoyed listening to him play and we saw the minister tapping his toe too! James was wonderful. He was very accommodating with requests and even took the time to learn a song I wanted payed for my walk down the aisle. He played guitar for cocktail hour and transitioned to DJing for the reception. He played favorites, requests, and improvised based on the crowd. I would hands down recommend him for any event. Very professional, very talented... maybe include more variety of songs played (we heard the same song 3 times in 3 hours). Other than that, he is willing to do whatever is needed for your event. We recommend him.
