Matt performed at our wedding on January 7, 2017. He was phenomenal. From our initial contact with him, he was responsive and very professional. Matt has an extensive song list covering all types of music. In addition to his song list, he accommodated us with special requests. At the wedding his performance was exceptional. All our guests were highly impressed with his performance and broad range of music. He is a great guitarist and has an amazing voice. Over the course of the night, he had us all on our feet dancing. He also filled in as a master of ceremonies. Basically, he did it all. We would highly recommend him to others and plan to use him in the future.

Matt was absolutely fantastic for my mom's backyard birthday party! We had around 90 guests who all raved about his talent and several asked me for his contact information for future events. As my mom is Polish, I asked Matt if he would be able to learn to play the tune to the polish version of happy birthday, "Sto lat" from simply hearing the tune, and he did so flawlessly and even sang along! It was really special for her and showed that he went the extra mile to make sure our event was a success. I highly recommend Matt for any event!

Matt was a tremendous addition to our company's Christmas party. His set list was phenomenal--contemporary favorites during cocktail hour, melodic instrumentals during dinner, and then really raised the fun with some Holiday carols at the end. Matt was immensely communicative and accommodating throughout the entire process. Matt is remarkably talented, gracious, and professional. We will definitely be hiring him for future events!

I wish there were 6 stars to describe our experience with Matt. He took the engagement party for our daughter to a whole other level of amazing! With a great vibe, appearance and fantastic voice he truly made the party. He even learned 2 songs for the couple which were a show stopper. Will definitely book Matt again for the wedding! Matt did an amazing job performing at my wedding! It was on a rooftop in Laguna where amplified music was not allowed but Matt worked with the venue to make it happen and the volume was perfect. His voice and choice of songs were even more perfect! My guests and myself were so happily impressed with his talent and the vast amount of requests he was able to take. Matt has such a calm and sweet demeanor, it was such a pleasure having him perform at my wedding!!

Matt Commerce made our wedding magical!
My now, husband and I searched gig masters for our perfect musician. Matt Commerce was so talented, professional, and so sincere. He made our outdoor wedding venue magical. Hearing him play somewhere over the rainbow by IZ almost brought me to tears before I started walking down the aisle with my father. I had to breathe deep to stop the emotions. Matt was amazing- he had an excellent voice, range of songs, he paid attention to the audience, was on time, professional, friendly. I had a party of approx 75 people and every single person commented on how fantastic the guitar player/singer was and how he made the party so special and fun. Every single song was better than the other- we didn't want him to stop! I can't wait to hire him again!

Words can not describe how wonderful Matt's performance was, he made my Husband's 40th party magical. My guess could not stop commenting on how great Matt's choice of music and his musical talents. On top of this, all the girls and some guys could not help compliment his great looks! I had to tell everyone he is happily married. Lol! Seriously, Matt is extremely professional , kindhearted and accommodated my request of him singing a duet with my also very talented friend. It was a pleasure to have Matt perform and DJ at our wedding, and we were so grateful we found him on GigMasters! We had started communicating through e-mail, and he responded quickly to any questions we had. He is very open to help create the perfect atmosphere for your ceremony/reception/dancing time. Matt is incredible. He made our wedding! He is beyond talented. Matt partnered on the song list with us, learned our favorite song and took requests from the party. I walked down the aisle to his voice and beautiful guitar. I almost started to cry because it was so perfect. He played through the entire reception and never missed a beat. Our wedding was in wine country in Temecula on a Saturday and Matt set the perfect mood. We spoke to Matt the week of the wedding and he couldn't have been more accommodating. He was open to anything we had in mind and willing to go the extra mile to make our wedding special. He played while guests showed up, the whole ceremony and cocktail hour. Matt has an ease about him that the guests really enjoyed and his ability is off the charts. He can play anything and sounds fantastic doing it. Rare to find someone that can play such a variety of music at such a high level. Great musician and even better of a person. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for any type of event.

From the very beginning Matt was very personable and incredibly professional. He answered every question I had, and even invited us to check out his gig in LA. He had the biggest smile on his face and welcomed us with open arms. We were planning our wedding all the way from Chicago, and even from afar, Matt was easy to contact and communicate with. On our wedding day, we received so many compliments about Matt and how everything ran so smoothly during the ceremony (without any rehearsal). (9-14-13) A day that my husband and I will rememeber forever. I wasnt sure how everything would end up but it all fell into place so perfectly and Matt Commerce had a lot to do with the overall turnout to our Big Day. We were absolutely thrilled with Matt's musical talent including his masterful guitar playing accompanied by his smooth and vibey voice. His professionalism and ability to "sense what the guests wanted" was amazing. I would not only use Matt in the future for our own parties, but would highly recommend him to friends. Matt's repertoire is huge. He even surprised me with learning and performing a favorite song of mine that he didn't yet know. (which at the last minute, is no easy task) All in all, Matt made the evening. Our guests are still talking about him.

Matt was incredible from our first email till the last song played. Not only is he an extremely talented musician, but he's responsible, professional, on-time, accomodating, well-dressed, adorable and one of the nicest guys we've ever met. Throughout the event, our friends kept asking, "Where did you find this guy?" He just seemed to know what we were looking for... an intimate and heartfelt day with low key, fun music that would make people at ease. He learned "Colder Weather" for us and believe it or not, sang it better than Zac Brown himself. His "Marry Me" by Train was PHENOMENAL and made everyone cry as I walked down the isle. Wish I could give him 10 stars!!!

If you are looking for a great performer, HIRE MATT! This guy rocked my wife's 50th birthday party. He played for 5 straight hours, had everyone dancing and singing along and has a such a range of songs that he can be a hit for any age group. He was on time, dressed professionally, worked with me in advance for ideas of a playlist and overall is a wonderful guy. San Diego Magazine stated that he has one of the top 10 voices in town, he lived up to that reputation last night.

We had Matt play the guitar and sing during our wedding and the cocktail hour at our reception in Ellen Browning Scripps Park in La Jolla. As soon as I heard him play on gigmasters I knew I had to have him play for our wedding and my husband and I were not disappointed! Matt is an amazing talent and all of my guests were blown away by his voice and guitar playing! He had a huge portfolio of songs to choose from and he was accomodating to every request we had (including hauling all of his stuff from the park to the Crab Catcher patio where we had our cocktail reception!) We would both recommend him to anyone...thanks Matt!!
