Richard was a total delight. The party was for my A 90th birthday party for my mother but my high school and college aged kids were there with their friends and absolutely everyone loved him. He played multiple instruments and was extremely charming ! My family will definitely recommend him. He is a super talented man!

Richard played the banjo at my Labor Day weekend wedding. The church was a short walk from the venue, so we wanted to have our guests work in a sort of procession/parade. Richard led the procession playing the banjo and signing and was perfect for the event! He was easy to work with, prompt, and got rave reviews from our guests.

Richard was a delight to work with and helped to make our 50th anniversary party special for our guests. He was responsive, flexible, well prepared, on time, an excellent square dance teacher and enthusiastic with the group without being over bearing. He was good at sensing the needs of our guests--from children to folks in their 70s, and accompanied himself on banjo and sang during dinner and other break times. We would recommend him with enthusiasm and would certainly call on him again. Thank you Richard!

Richard (and Paul) set up 45 min's beforehand & brought his mandolin, banjo, concertina & bagpipes for my f-i-l's 80th surprise b-day party. They played for the guests before the honoree arrived & compliments were flying. They played most of the songs requested before the party & then accomodated the request for other types of music made by the birthday boy. I hired them for 12:30-4 (the party was until 4:30) & my daughter wanted to play Happy Birthday on her new clarinet for her poppy. When I mentioned this Richard said he'd stay for that, allow my daughter to use the mic, & accompany her (did a quick impromptu rehearsal w/ her) & announced her! What a class act!!

Richard and his partner performed a duo for our Irish/Italian-themed wedding cocktail hour and did a fantastic job! They alternated between the genres of music flawlessly. When performing Italian music, they brought an authentic Italian sound and feel to the vocals and instruments. Similarly, they maintained the same authentic Irish air when performing those melodies. They incorporated an amazing variety of instruments. They were fun, professional, detail oriented (even coordinating their attire to our theme), highly skilled, and great performers! The guests all raved about the live music and lively atmosphere they created. We would definitely recommend them!!

Richard played the bagpipes for my Irish's mother funeral services. Not only is Richard a talented bagpiper, but wonderfully sensitive, professional, and accommodating. Richard arrived one hr fifteen min before the services, made suggestions to improve the flow of the service, and even played before the start of the service to entertain early guests. What a lovely, pleasant gentleman! .And he looked so handsome in his kilt. I would certainly recommend and hire Richard again.

Richard added such a perfect element of the Irish-Italian flare that we had planned for our theme. His mandolin playing and Italian love songs were so beautiful and we were so pleased to hear such great comments from all of our guests.: "The mandolin player is awesome!! What a great idea! Feels like I'm transported to the old Italia!" were some of the wonderful comments we heard from our loved ones. Richard even got my mom to sing "O Sole Mio" with him. Then when we walked in to be introduced for the first time as husband and wife to "When Irish Eyes are Smiling", there was not a dry eye in the place. Thank you Richard for helping to give us the night of our lives.

On March 30, 2013, Richard performed his awesome Irish program for the clients at Rockland Psychiatric Center. It was a successful event. Many of our clients sang along and danced to the music. Richard was very accommodating and he really made the clients feel special. He even gave some of them the opportunity to touch and place with his musical instruments. Richard is extremely talented. He sings, dances, plays many instruments and he is an accomplished story telling. He also has a great singing voice. It was a pleasure working with Richard and we have recommended him to other facilities.
