We had an incredible experience with Brandon’s Celtic performance for our homeschool group! The music was absolutely wonderful and full of energy and passion. The students especially loved the participatory activities. Brandon’s instructional pieces were informative and engaging—he did a great job teaching while keeping the kids entertained. Highly recommend for any educational or family event!

We hired Brandon for or a Moulin Rouge-themed wedding, and he was phenomenal! Incredibly talented, professional, and fully committed to the theme—guests were mesmerized. His strolling performance added the perfect romantic, Parisian touch and brought the whole experience to life. He was easy to work with, punctual, and elevated the event with his presence and skill. Highly recommend if you're looking to add something unique, elegant, and unforgettable to your event!

Happy to talk to us all and sat down with us after his performance, which was brilliant, fabulous musician , we were al small group in our back yard but he sang a played like we were in Yanky Stadium , he put his whole heart into it..

Absolute pleasure to play for Scott and his now fiance. The effort he put into his proposal says a lot about his character and I was happy to be just a small part of that. Brandon was absolutely fantastic. He is quite a talented musician. Since our gathering was a Christmas theme, he played (at our request) Christmas music as well as a mix of traditional Irish folk songs. We received so many compliments from our guests on Brandon’s music. His communication was great from the moment of booking. He arrived early to the event and played all evening. I will definitely hire Brandon again. Highly recommend.

I've played for quite a few corporate events but….wow! Jazmin and her team did an amazing job with their “Christmas Around the World” theme. Walking around there was a very impressive amount of coordination and effort that had taken place… artists representing different nations, cuisine to the same end, coordinated TVs in all the rooms broadcasting live streams… And it all seemed to go off flawlessly. Brandon exceeded all of our expectations for what a wedding vendor could be. He was friendly, accommodating, reachable, chill, and he went above and beyond on our wedding day to make things go smoothly. His music was lovely and he mixed more classical wedding music with some of his fiddling per our request. We are incredibly blessed to have found him on The Bash and thankful that he was able to provide the music on our special day. I was able to participate in Anna and her husbands riverside ceremony in Annapolis on a beautiful October afternoon. They were both charming individuals and had a very straight forward and lovely ceremony. I was happy for an excuse to break out my kilt and play for them under the embankment trees as their friends and family gathered to celebrate their union. Always a grand time getting to play Irish music on someone's special day. Dane and his now wife had a beautiful set up on the water with a few loved ones on a perfect spring day. Brandon is an absolute superstar! In addition to being an incredible musician, he was wonderful to work with in every step of the event. Brandon went above and beyond to have his setup ready to go and flexible, as we had move his location at the venue (twice!) due to weather, and he even checked out the space the day before to ensure a smooth event.
Would 200% recommend.

Monica and Adrienne were both absolute charms to play for, as were their family and guests and it was wonderful to see them shine in the glow of the gardens. They engaged me with an honest warmth I recall distinctly and I'm sure that kind of authenticity plays no small part in their love for each other. We were blessed to have Brandon as a Celtic musician at a Celtic Wormans funeral. He was a big hit! Everyone loved him. Beautiful voice!
Even performed two songs replacing the names within the song as a specialty item for us, and he did it with ease. Highly recommend the wandering barn.

Ryan, his staff and patrons were veritable dream clients… engaged, kind, thoughtful… I performed in their brewery and it was a lovely way to wrap up a (very) hectic St Patrick's day week. I can't recommend Old House Vineyards enough if you're in the Culpeper area. They have all built something magical out there. Brandon truly made our holiday party, making us feel like we were in Killarney and singing the perfect set. Our guests haven’t stopped raving all day, it was exactly what I’d envisioned, and Brandon worked tirelessly with me to make sure it met that vision. Can’t say enough great things, but he’s brilliant, and just a lovely person.

Walking into Caroline's house felt like entering a hallmark Christmas card. She had put together an incredibly beautiful holiday party for her wine club. It felt like being in a movie. Despite being hostess to many friends and family members in attendance, she immediately turned her attention to me upon arrival and made sure I felt welcome into her home, as did her guests. They were such an enthusiastic audience I was glowing all the next day. They participated whole heartedly in the ceili dance and even sang with me at points. It was truly the embodiment of what Irish music is supposed to be. So thankful to have been able to collect this wonderful memory, slainte!

It was such a blast getting to drive up through the Pennslyvania mountains, around a lovely lake and seeing the fall leaves change colors as I made my way to this wedding. The setting was beautiful and group was so welcoming and fun to play for. I got to "talk shop" with the groom who was a violin player himself and hear about their upcoming honey moon to Ireland (which I hope went well!!). Barry has been so supportive in some of my other endeavors since booking me, which Im very thankful for. Him and his wife were charming and getting to play in the rustic woodland cabin during dinner for his guests is the kind of thing musicians often dream about. Thank you guys!

I was very lucky to find Brandon. He had barely two days notice for an unusual assignment pretty far from his home in Northern Virginia. I wanted my baby sister to enjoy an intimate concert with someone who would play guitar and fiddle and sing tunes she recognized from her earliest years. I also asked Brandon to engage her as a participant. He did an exceptional job, playing everything from lively sea shanties to nursery rhymes. My sister sang along, played bells and shakers and even danced a bit. The joy Brandon brought to our celebration was a gift our whole family will remember for years. I highly recommend Brandon The Wandering Bard for your corporate function. We had a small team celebration over Zoom celebrating accomplishments. Brandon created and played a set list themed for our company and especially for the team's achievements. The amount of thought and preparation he displayed is very much appreciated and was enjoyed by all. As is traditional with Irish music, Brandon encouraged participation and told us the story behind the tunes, making this experience perfect for our team and bringing us all closer together. He was absolutely wonderful. Professional, polite, talented and on time. Our guests loved the music and it really added an elegant touch to our wedding that we really appreciated. He's also just the nicest person and very easy to work with. He easily moved throughout the venue while playing and was able to read the room. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a talented musician for any event and if I ever need one again for a special occasion I would absolutely not hesitate.

Giovanna and her new partner were dream clients. I'm sometimes hesitant to take any of the couples time on wedding/reception gigs as the family and friends are all there trying to get a bit of their time. However, I stole a moment with the two of them before leaving and I'm glad I did. We talked about standard wedding stuff…honeymoons, how crazy the day is… but it felt almost oddly genuine and sincere, I actually felt for about two minutes like I was a long time friend of them both, catching up. If they can make a complete stranger feel that way instantly, they will surely have a warm loving home that they will be building together in the future. Cheers guys.
