We hired Johnny to play our piano for background music at our family Hanukkah Celebration (40+ people) and he did an amazing job!! Everyone LOVED the music and were so impressed by his talent. We are planning to hire Johnny again in a few weeks for another party!

We had Johnny Herbert do the ceremony and cocktail hour at our outdoor wedding and we could not have been happier with that decision. He arrived early and even started playing about 20 minutes ahead of schedule as we had a number of early guest arrivals. He was professional, fun and charming, and the guests had nothing but great things to say. And the music was fantastic! He nailed all the songs we asked him to do and even learned a bunch of oddball requests for us. All I have to say is: book him now!

My parent's 50 th wedding anniversary party. Johnny learned songs specifically to fit their taste - many from the 50s, 60s and 70s with Motown and R&b included. He is a truly talented musician! Johnny played for 4 hours - with the last hour just as lively as the first ! He had people on their feet dancing and singing along! I couldn't ask for more perfect entertainment - he made the party . My mom's exact words "Johnny was the best!" As far as professionalism, Johnny was quick to respond to emails; early to set up for the event; fun , courteous and accommodating during the event. A joy to work with - I would definitely hire again.

Working with Johnny was a true pleasure. He was a complete professional - communicative, on-time, and handled all of our special song requests. Johnny is a very talented musician and singer. Working with Johnny for my surprise proposal was such a seamless and positive experience. Johnny was great to coordinate with before the event, appeared early in Central Park, performed special songs for my (now) fiance and me, and performed them beautifully. Johnny performed via Zoom for a virtual Baby Shower/Cocktail Party (he was a "surprise guest" for the couple who love music). He was excellent right from the start- super helpful brainstorming the song list, timing, and suggestions for the event. He played both the piano and ukulele, picking the instrument that was best for the song and switched between the two effortlessly. Then he surprised me too by adding 2 songs that were perfect and even adding a couple of requests from the couple and myself. Johnny engaged and captivated everyone. His voice is beautiful and he plays both instruments perfectly. Johnny added magic and happiness to our event. A+++

Johnny was the perfect fit for our event. We hosted a Hawaiian/tropical themed dinner and he played a great mix of music for our event. He played well-known covers that everyone knew and was extremely responsive to questions leading up to the event. I would highly recommend him!
