Words cannot express how thankful and thrilled we are to have had Utopia be apart of our wedding day. JT was a pleasure to talk to and work with in the months leading up to our wedding. He was accommodating and available whenever we had any questions or concerns. He was even willing to change the lyrics to my chosen father/daughter dance song in order to surprise my dad! The entire band was so much fun at our reception, and left our guests raving about how much fun they had even weeks after our wedding day! We cannot thank them enough for their kindness, professionalism, and awesome talent!

We had high expectations and Utopia managed to completely exceeded our expectations. The entire band brought so much life and energy to the wedding reception. They sounded fantastic...very "tight" and in sync. They were very enthusiastic and engaging which had the guests dancing all night. They were able to perform some songs we requested and they played them perfectly. I truly believe they were the highlight of our night. You would be ill-advised to choose a different band than Utopia.

Utopia was a complete hit at our wedding reception, and despite the fact that news is "old" after about one week, two weeks later people were STILL raving about the live band! JT was SUCH a pleasure to work with; he was consistent, responsive, and extremely professional. Utopia even learned 2 special songs just for us!! Hands-down, Utopia was wonderful and we would definitely consider booking them for future events!

The band was such a hit at our wedding in Florence, AL. The reception was supposed to end at 9:30 but we didn't leave until after 9:30 because we didn't want the band to stop. They were so fun! Mr. Northcutt is very easy to get in touch with and is so accommodating. They were dressed so well too! Our wedding was just 36 hours ago but I've already had a few of my friends say they had never heard Utopia before the wedding but they want to hire them for their weddings when the time comes. We definitely recommend Utopia for any wedding or event! You will have so much fun with them!

I can't put into words how happy I am with Utopia! They made the reception. It was a little nerve-wracking to book a band online without seeing them in person first, but my first conversation with JT put me at ease. He made sure all of the details were covered well in advance of the wedding so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything that day. The transition from the ceremony to the reception was flawless, and within the first few songs the dance floor was covered. I've never heard better versions of "Purple Rain" and "Strokin"! Utopia was by far the best decision I made in my wedding planning process - other than picking my husband!

JT and the UTOPIA band was just wonderful! They came in early, set up and did their test check well in advance of the event. They exemplified a level of professionalism that would not be expected of most entertainers. The music was wonderful and enjoyed by all from the youngest to our eldest family member. If you are looking for a band that will make your event more enjoyable, i recommend UTOPIA. The Hill Family

Utopia was absolutely AMAZING!!! All the band members were not only SUPER talented, but sooo kind and accommodating!! Everyone had a blast!!!! JT was nothing but helpful from literally day one!!!!! Everyone could not stop talking about how great the band was!!! Love Utopia and can't wait for another big event...so I can hire them again!!!! :) FABULOUS!!! We are so happy we had Utopia play at the wedding reception for our daughter's wedding. They were absolutely awesome. We had more comments about how great the band was, more than anything else at the wedding. They know how to interact with the crowd and get them into the swing of things. Our group was outside with the band the entire time. The newlyweds didn't want to leave and stayed thirty minutes past their time of departure because of the band. I wish I had hired them for a longer time because they are so worth it. the wedding would not have been what it was without Utopia. A group of us are even going to their 30th anniversary on April 30 to hear them again!

I was totally blow away by this awesome band. They truly were the life of my daughter's wedding reception! They even had my 80-year-old parents up dancing with the young people! My 10-year-old niece said, "it was the most fun she has ever had in her entire life." Utopia's JT was extremely professional and kept in touch throughout the year. (I booked them a year in advance because my daughter had seen them at another reception.) Utopia did all of our requests and JT added great suggestions to make the night more lively and entertaining. I highly, highly recommend this band. They are extremely talented and professional. We did not want the night to end!!!

Utopia was everything I expected and more. They are an enteraining band and had everyone dancing at my wedding reception from ages 18-65! They are definetly crowd pleasers! Music is very important to my husband and he was thrilled by their funky performance and their professionalism in dealing with our numerous requests. My friends and I performed the thriller dance at the reception and they didn't miss a beat! Our guests were so "thrilled" with the performance; many told us that they had not had that much fun in years. Utopia truly made our wedding reception memorable and super fun! I will recommend them for personal and corporate events in the future.

Utopia played the exact kind of soul/funk party music that we wanted for our wedding. They were great at engaging the crowd and handeling the wedding traditions that needed to be announced as well. I really loved that they did some warm up music (the wedding and venue were the same). Everyone was really excited about their sound by the time they got going. I cant say enough good things about this band, for the price, variety, and fabulous sound you could not do better. I am so glad that I booked them for the most importatn day of my life because they helped make it the most fun day of my life!!!

I thought they did a fantastic job. I was a little confused at first because the announcements that they made were read wrong, but that could have been my fault for not going over it as closely as I could have with them before the start of the reception. I will always do that now in the future. They kept the crowd dancing and were obviously having a great time themselves. =) They really added a lot to the reception. I know the family was thrilled.

We had an amazing experience with Utopia. They were quick to respond and bid on the event. Their song list was really diverse and catered to EVERYONE at the wedding. They also are FANTASTIC performers who clearly know how to work the wedding crowd. I live in LA and had friends flying into TN for my wedding from all over. They all said this was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding... and it showed by how much they were all dancing. THANK YOU SO MUCH, UTOPIA!!!!!!!!!
