David was amazing! He responded quickly, he was very professional and played every song we requested in the order we asked for in the ceremony. We asked for ambient music during our cocktails and dinner - I gave him a list of songs/musicians we liked and he wrote a whole line up!
My husband and I are not big fans of live music, so we were nervous about booking one. David sent us videos of him playing songs we wanted so we'd know just what they'd sound like LIVE, not doctored up like most of the other musicians I looked at. The music was beautiful and we couldn't be happier!! Can't recommend him highly enough!

David exceeded ALL my expectations and I would hire him again and again and again for an event or party large or small. He is very easy going and accommodating to work with before an event. He has a great voice and truly made the party a success. When I described to David what I was looking for and the type of music I wanted, he understood me from the start...and delivered! David was on time actually before time ( considering time to set up his eqiupment) we hired him for a grad party event . He was extremely accommodating / professional and easy to work with . He is pretty good with his job and seems to enjoy and is dedicated to his work . His voice is pretty good too and he was able to work on the list of songs we provided . I highly recommend him and he would be the person for me to call in future . His budget is also very reasonable . I am glad it worked out well for us

Dave was incredibly flexible, responsive and easy going throughout the whole wedding planning process, culminating in perfect execution on the big day. The music he performed was the perfect backing to our ceremony, and received many compliments from our guests. Recently, one of my clients in Ohio needed many different entertainment needs with different themes each evening for three nights in Baltimore, MD. Being annual events many times they simply go with talent we have used in the past. A networking dinner/social doesn't require a dance band because guests need to communicate with each other yet be entertained. It was easy going to Gig Masters and being able to send unique options to my client.
David Andrew Smith was just the type of performer that was ideal for this situation. He was a pleasure to work with, talented and now feels like a personal friend!

David played a backyard party for us and we couldn't have been happier. He was very easy to work with, played all of the songs we asked, showed up on time ready to go. Absolutely no complaints here! David was extremely responsive, flexible and reasonably priced. He was a great communicator in terms of logistics and finalizing day-of event details. In terms of his actual performance, he did an amazing job. For our event, we wanted entertainment but not so much that it "stole the show" or so loud that people couldn't mingle and talk. Booked David for our wedding ceremony last August 14th and he was PHENOMENAL! Our special day wouldn't have been as perfect if he hasn't been a part of it to say the least. :) We went to see him perform a few times before our wedding day which made us more and more convinced that we got the right person to play at our wedding ceremony.
