A 5-Star award-winning performer on The Bash, Amethyst Quartet provides violins, cello, harp, piano, flute. We have played for thousands of events in the Bay Area and beyond. All Classically-trained musicians, we play in a variety of crossover styles such as Jazz, Classic rock, contemporary pop. The quartet can include harp or piano or flute. When a piano is not available at the venue, we bring our own top-of-the-line Yamaha stage keyboard set up. We can also provide our own amplification if requested. To see the extent of our awards here on this site, please see Amethyst Trio, an award winner for 10-years. NOTE: we had a name change from Celtic Sands; some of the reviews refer to us by that name.
