They were on time, easy to work with, available pre-event for any questions or concerns that I had and were over all just great to work with. Everything was very clear in their contract and I would definitely recommend them for any event, corporate (as ours was) or otherwise.

The women were wonderful, braved the cold and just added a wonderful touch of class to the garden wedding. They are obviously talented musicians and were the perfect addition to a lovely wedding. Many guests, and the owner of Southern Exposure, commented on how having their music really was just the right compliment to the ceremony. I would hire them again without reservation.

One of the performers was sick, but they offered us a discount without us even asking. Even though they were one short, they still sounded fabulous and it really made the day special. They even took some special song requests for me. They were punctual and able to follow the cues in the ceremony, so don't worry that they can't be at your rehearsal because these musicians know what they are doing!

We were looking for a cello-violin duo to play Ravel's Bolero instead of a classical Bridal's march for our wedding. Horizon's strings replied quickly and professionally, offering to specially arrange the piece; they did a wonderful job, managing to adapt the pulse of the Bolero with a staccato. They arrived on time, started playing while guests took their places and played the Bolero on the bridal entrance. After the ceremony, they also played two Beatles songs. They could not make to the rehearsal, but for the very good communication we felt that we could fully trust them to be the music of our special occasion -- and so they were. We are very grateful.

Our wedding ceremony was beautiful, thanks in large part to Horizon Strings Group! Even though we had never rehearsed with them, the processional music was perfect and the transitions between songs were seamless. They have a large selection of songs to choose from and will play new songs if you provide an arrangement for them. They'll even arrange songs specially for your wedding for a small fee. Rebecca was great to communicate with in the days leading up to the wedding, and they accommodated all of our special requests very easily. We couldn't be happier we booked them.

Our group had several musicians in it that commented on the performance of the players, thought they were inexperienced. I personally do not know this type of music and I thought that it sounded good. Next time I book I will specifically ask the experience of the players. I have never booked anything like this before so was unsure what to ask when booking. Again, I personally thought they did a great job.

This gig was very last minute, and our main group had already been booked that day, therefore I found some musicians I knew and thought could do a great job. I was confident in their playing experience, as both had music degrees and were used to performing. We are always happy to meet with you before your event, and/or give you a demo CD upon request. The group was excellent! They worked with us on repertoire and the music they chose was exactly what we wanted. Their technical expertise was amazing, and my wife very much enjoyed listening to them. Their music set the perfect tone for the party - and while wonderful to listen to - also never overwhelmed table conversation. The three musicians were very personable as well, and easy to work with. They were definitely a pleasure to have at the party, and their skill and musicianship was commented on by many attendees. I would highly recommend this group for any function.

The Horizon String Trio was great for our daughter's wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were professional and accommodating in every regard. Our guests enjoyed them immensely and spoke very highly of them. We would most definately recommend them to anyone who is interested in enhancing their event with the beautiful sound of strings.
