These amazing ladies made our wedding event truely magical. Our guests could not stop raving about how elegant and unique our wedding was and the muscic was a huge part of it. They are so talented, professional and wonderful to work with. I would recommend anyone consider adding this special touch of class to their once in a life time wedding day.

I really enjoyed the quartet playing at my wedding. Everyone was really nice and they were extrememly organized. They were really detailed about what they were going to be playing and also the timing. At the last minute, I asked if they could play something during the communion and they were able to do so. I would definately recommend them to others. Thanks for making the event so special!!

WeddingReviewed on August 26, 2006From Morrison, CO

The Ptarmigan group played at our wedding on August 26th at the Red Rocks Trading Post backyard in Morrison Colorado. Just their presence at the ceremony added romance and class. I had many compliments on the music and everything went perfectly. Vicki even came to our rehearsal to make sure everything was perfectly in sync. She was extremely nice, professional and easy to get a hold of. From the beginning they were organized and thorough. Their professionalism and attention to details even showed in their paperwork and emails. They were flexible with any changes I made last minute. I never had a doubt or regret after hiring this group. Many thanks to Vicki and the Ptarmigan String Quartet for helping to make our wedding so beautiful. -Heather and Chris Lukosky

I hired the Trio only one week before the wedding. They were so helpful to get everything done in a timely manner - it was very apreciated. I also had a tight schedule at work and was unable to take phone calls; therefore, Vicki provided everything I needed via email and fax. It was a very smooth process, I recommend them highly!! Sincerely, Cristal Faucett

WeddingReviewed on July 9, 2005From Lyons, CO

The group was professional, easy to work with, and flexible. We made several changes during the last week to the ceremony site at the ranch, and sprinkles during the reception moved guests into the lodge but the quartet simply picked up and moved indoors to continue playing. The ceremony and reception music was wonderfully played at a perfect volume.

Ptarmigan Quartet was superior in every way--they were more than happy to go the extra mile for me by learning a song I really wanted in my ceremony, attending my rehearsal, and playing beautiful music. They overdelivered on every detail. Definitely hire this group!

The Ptarmigan String Quartet was such a joy to work with. They were focused on making the event special, and were very personable! I look forward to working with them again, and would highly recommend them to my family and friends. Besides the ease of working with them...the music was beautiful!!! I heard so many comments that night on the beautiful music. They are a talented bunch that would bring class and ease to any event!

WeddingReviewed on November 3, 2007From Denver, CO

Ptarmigan String Quartet did a wonderful job at our wedding. The only thing I would have changed was the song that played during our unity candle lighting/communion was too short and it was cut off too early. It was suppose to play during the duration of the candle lighting. Other than that, everything was great!

WeddingReviewed on August 14, 2007From Estes Park, CO

We had an outdoor wedding and the weather conditions were horrible - rain and wind. Even with those conditions, they did their best. And we appreciated that. Because the ceremony was cut short, due to the weather, they made up the time during the reception. And the timing worked out perfectly because when their time was up, most of the guests had left. Vicki was very accommodating with taking my phone calls, handling the special music requests, giving advice, and I was very appreciative of her coming to the wedding rehearsal to see how things were going to be handled. We would recommend them for a wedding - or any other event.

:

The couple explained in follow up conversations that they were pleased with our music. They thought our music was beautiful and appreciated our being a part of their wedding day. There may have been logistical concerns about adequate cover for the outdoor ceremony and placement of the quartet during the cocktail hour. Ptarmigan will be more clear in the future about what kind of cover and floor space is adequate. We enjoyed performing the ceremony and cocktail hour music for Maiya and Cody's wedding.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on May 31, 2017From Lafayette, CO

They are very professional and took all my song requests in stride and executed them well. However, the fact that they require a 10'x10' canopy if they're outside (which is often the case for ceremonies), but don't own one and can't get one — means either a huge extra rental cost for me, or a significant amount of time/labor devoted to borrowing one and setting it up. And then I had a bridesmaid come to me saying they were requesting for it to be set up on the other side of the altar, even though there was no space for the canopy there. I would just assume a professional group would come with all the equipment they'd need. Just something to think about.

:

Dear Natalia, thank you so much for taking your time to leave feedback about our service and music. Your happiness with our music is the most important thing of all, so we're happy that you consider us to be professional and that we performed all your special requests very well. We apologize for any convenience related to your providing a protective pop-up tent. Violins and cellos cost many thousands of dollars and can be ruined if exposed to sun and rain. Many wedding venues provide protective cover/enclosures for musicians and DJ's which is so considerate for everyone. We suggested a dryer, hard surface for better sound. Thanks again, we appreciate it!
