Let loose and get a little wild.
For a 1st birthday party, a bit of rumpus is in order. Why not have some fun with wordplay and celebrate with a wild one party theme? This party could be inspired by the book “Where the Wild Things Are” or it could take on a safari twist filled with animal print.
OCCASION: 1st Birthday Party
SIMILAR THEMES: Peter Rabbit
If the weather allows, an outdoor space is the perfect complement to this party theme. Not only will you be surrounded by greenery but there will be plenty of open space to run around.
Let adults and kids alike unleash their inner animals with some animal print designs or face painting.
For an early afternoon party, a brunch menu offers a ton of variety for both kids and adults. Fresh parfaits, a doughnut wall, mini waffles or scones and jam offer something for everyone.
For the grown-ups, set up a DIY mimosa and bloody mary table. Supply a few different fruit juices for the mimosas (grapefruit, pineapple and orange juice), and different garnishes for the bloodys (olives, celery, deviled eggs).
Decorate a kids’ corner with a teepee and a few different activities to keep kids busy, like coloring books, hoola hoops and jump ropes.
