I can't believe we were lucky enough to have a band this great at our wedding reception. The band has such great personality and talent; both musically and in interacting with a crowd. They kept the evening rolling along nicely, and created the perfect fun, party atmosphere for our reception. It's been almost 2 weeks since the reception, and people are still telling me how great the band was and how much they enjoyed them. A great bunch of guys, and Mike is the most professional musician I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I would give them the highest recommendation to anyone having a reception or event that requires good music and a fun atmosphere.

We booked mike and his band for our wedding at the four seasons in las Vegas. I can honestly say they did a great job. Mike was there early on the day to setup ahead of the ceremony. The rest of the guys were all there in plenty of time, so I did not need to worry about any no shows
mike was very accommodating of our requests.The overall quality of the music was perfect. Those guys really nail the whole 60s and 70s genre.
I love live music. These guys have got talent in spades, mike is a professional band leader and organiser and I think the slightly older lineup adds real class to an event. Much better than some hair gelled kids.

Band showed up at our venue on time and was able to accommodate our special song requests given to them beforehand. Their sound was great, they are high energy and upbeat. Guests all enjoyed their performance! Would definitely recommend this band for a wedding reception!

To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We were thrilled when we discovered HOTN because they were able to play our song. Michael Payne, the manager and lead singer, communicated with us about the song list, which was perfect for our event. As it got closer, Mike was impossible to get ahold of, and he did not show to perform on our wedding day. The other members of the band accommodated the situation; however, they were unable to perform many of the songs (including our song) without Mike. This was heartbreaking for us, and we are upset with Mike. We are fortunate the other band members rose to the occasion, but we do not recommend hiring Mike.

Wonderful band! They played music for all of our guests, a wide variety of ages. Very talented performers, Mike's voice is incredible! They even learned Village People's "YMCA" just for this Y party! Right on time, played wonderfully till the end. I would HIGHLY recommend this band!

Mike and the Heat of the Night Band are wonderful and talented guys. We threw a surprise 70th birthday party for my mom at her house and we really wanted a great live band that could play her favorite rock n roll and shag tunes. They didn’t disappoint! They were very professional and had everyone in such a good mood, singing along and dancing. Our area is very lucky to have this type of talent available for booking. They were so easy to get in touch with and make the arrangements. It was so simple. Many of the party attendees enjoyed the music so much that they’ve gone out to see the band play at other venues around town already. Fun times are awaiting!
