Brooksley was not only a wonderful violinist, but was so accommodating and able to go with the flow during the entire experience. She suggested where to play, where to stand and offered choices of what to play and when. As hiring her was a surprise for the bride and groom, it was really wonderful to not have to make all the decisions, especially since we traveled out of town for the event and were unfamiliar with the area.
Thank you SO much Brooksley, for the amazing music AND your kindness for our intimate event - your presence made the elopement so special!

Wow! Brooksley is simply phenomenal. She has such an incredible and diverse range of music, from hip hop to adult contemporary - she plays it all on her violin so seamlessly. Prior to the wedding, I sent her a specific playlist for the ceremony, pre-ceremony and recessional, all of which she played beautifully. Brooksley was so friendly and accommodating in our email communication that when I finally met her in person, I felt as though I already knew her! She is a joy to work with and I would recommend her without question to anyone looking for a talented violinist for their special occasion. Brooksley elevated our wedding to another level and we are so grateful!

The scale is from 0 to 5 stars, but there should be exceptions available when appropriate. This is one of those times where an exception is appropriate. To simply give Brooksley a 5, for example, on how accommodating would do her injustice. I have a long list of messages that would say Brooksley should be given a 10 for how accommodating she has been.
To the actual elopement date. Brooksley was absolutely amazing. She sent me videos and sound clips of her performances, but those do not come close to the real thing. Apparently there is a word limit to this review so I will end it this: Book her, you will not be disappointed.

Brooksley was freaking AMAZING! From the moment I contacted her all the way until the end of her booking with us, she was exceptional. She was not only professional in every aspect of her contact and on our special day, but she was also very personable throughout. She connected with us and our guests so well that we had so many compliments about the way she played by multiple guests, both at the ceremony and via our zoom guest list! Booking Brooksley was the best decision we made, she was literally the essence of our special day and I would definitely book her again in the future for other events.

Brilliant, super flexible and a pleasure to work with! Brooksley is the REAL DEAL. Her performance speaks for herself and on top of everything else, she is really nice and caring to work with. I ended up proposing to my girl friend after rescheduling twice due to COVID-19 and then later on protests and rioting in LA. Brooksley was super flexible throughout, came up with great ideas on her own for songs and was professional throughout. She is very prompt and clear on communications which just makes things go a bit easier when you're planning events like mine.Do yourself a favor and just book Brooksley for your special event. I'll be recommending her to everyone I know

Spectacular! Brooksley was absolutely fantastic. She is talented, professional, personable and every other quality you’d want in someone contributing to your special event. She played at my MIL homegoing service and I have no regrets. She worked well with the funeral director and other people at the service. Thank you Brooksley!

Wish we could give more than 5 stars! From our very first chat to the day of the wedding, Brooksley was everything you would want a professional to be: kind, thorough, confident, accommodating, encouraging, excited, organized, quick to respond, and extremely talented! My only regret is that I didn't take time to chat more with this beautiful person on the day of the wedding! But those who did raved about how sweet and genuine she was! I'm not surprised because that is exactly what I'm imagined via our email conversations! I am forever thankful for the beautifully rich sound she brought to our daughter's wedding!

Brooksley played for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Superb! Professional, pleasant and beautiful music. She worked with me to provide music we liked and even designed an accompaniment to our video. Above and beyond.
