Duncan is wonderful! He performed at my Father-in-Law's funeral (Northern Virginia area). I located him on Gigmasters and was impressed with his reviews (All 5's), which is why I contacted him. He is not only a talented piper, but was very accommodating, professional and pleasant to work with. He made everything so easy and was very knowledgeable in terms of making suggestions as to what tunes would work best, based on his previous experience. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

We could have not been more pleased. Duncan was on time, extremely accommodating, and professional during his entire performance. An unexpected storm caused us to have to quickly change from a garden wedding to an indoor ceremony. There were many people scurrying around and Duncan seemed to know just when to start a song and when to just take a step back. We so appreciate everything he did to add to make our daughter's wedding memorable, and we would not hesitate to call on him again. Everyone is still talking about how great "the piper" was so we recommend you give this gentleman a call for your next event. -

I am an Activity Director for an Independent Senior Community. We have hundreds of entertainers a year come through and perform for our residents. Duncan, by far, brought out the largest crowed this community has seen in the several years I have been here. His talent surpassed my expectations and he kept our residents totally engaged for an hour! Duncan was polite, accommodating, and exceptionally personable with the residents. Duncan played our family reunion in front of 95 Irish family members. I do not think he knew the audience would be so large and included two professional musicians. Everyone was extremely complimentary of Duncan and his performance. He was able to personalize his set to include two songs that were very meaningful to our family. His playing added a great deal to a wonderful reunion.

Duncan was professional, thoughtful and courteous. His pricing was very reasonable and he was on time and ready to perform at a moments notice. His performance during the ceremony was perfect. My husband and I are so happy we chose Duncan to pipe at our wedding ceremony! Duncan played the recessional music, which was a surprise for our guests. After the minister pronounced us husband and wife, Duncan led us down the aisle while he played "The Wearing of the Green". He dressed in full Scottish regalia and entertained the guests outside the church following the ceremony. Having a bagpiper at the wedding was such a unique way to celebrate, and Duncan was so great to work with!

Everything, from the initial contact through the end of the performance went perfectly. He was positioned exactly as we had discussed, his timing was flawless and the effect of the bagpipes added powerfully to the graveside service.
I received a call from the funeral director several hours after the service wanting to know how he could contact a piper. Someone who was at the funeral is planning a service for a loved one on Monday and they were so impressed that they are hoping to contract a bagpiper. I gave him both the GigMasters website and Duncan S. Moore's personal contact information. I would recommend Duncan to anyone looking for a bagpiper.
