Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on August 26, 2013From Oceanside, CA

Mr. Burns was just Awesome. His performance could not have gotten any better, just GREAT. The birthday lady started to cry, she truly enjoyed every min. Mr. Burns was very social with all the guest in asking for request and also took the time to explain the song as to where it was first played. Thank you Robert for all the joy you brought to the party. You completed the party with the upmost class.

Robert was personal, professional and extreamlly talented. He started on time and did exactly as we requested with little or no prompting on me. This was great as there were many things that all happened at the same time. I would use him again and have already given out his name and number to friends. 100% satisfaction. Steven

WeddingReviewed on April 22, 2013From San Diego, CA

Robert was wonderful and really made the event special. Since he was to be a surprise for the groom we couldn't have him warming up near the venue. He was very nice about having to warm up in an offsite location so he could remain a surprise for the Groom. He was very professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone to add something special to their event.

Robert did a great job. He played through the whole graveside service for our Dad. It was a blustery, windy day and Robert came prepared. His selection of songs was beautiful and really set the tone for the services. Some of the guests said that was the most beautiful bagpiper they had ever heard. Thanks to Robert for helping us give Dad a wonderful send off.

Our family was happy with our bagpipe music on our stormy day of my Moms' service at Eternal Hills. He persevered through the wind and rain and didn't miss a beat. Thank you Robert on our behalf of our family.

ConventionReviewed on June 22, 2011From San Diego, CA

Robert performed at the opening ceremony for our conference with 2,300 people in attendance. He assembled a small band and they were great. It really set the tone for our conference and helped kick off a successful week for us. He was active in the planning process and always responded promptly. I would recommend Robert for any event.

Bagpipes are loud! So when we asked him to move a bit further out from the venue at the grave site he did not honor it in the way we requested. Also, when he first arrived on the scene, it would have been nice for him to peek in the chapel to see at what stage the service was at. He started to play outside, and we could hear the pipes inside during the final part of the service. Not at all what we orginally agreed upon. He was to play as the people exited the chapel. Robert played beautifully, however, he could learn to really listen to the requests given when hired. I would recommend him if he can learn from this experience.

Yes, the great highland bagpipe is loud and most are louder than mine. Direction was lacking at this event. I was told to go to a chapel other than the one holding the service, but I found it anyway. I was told by the minister while I was inside of the chapel to start playing but I seem to be reading now that I should have peeked inside and seemingly started at the wrong time! Or maybe complaint related to my warming up of the pipes somewhat distant (about a block away)--that's a fact of life piping without a tuning room to avoid putting on a carcicaturistic performance with untuned or detuning pipes--in which case that was unfortunate albeit without anyone compl
