The Royal Piper was terrific to work with and a true professional. He arrived early and looked great. He played during our wedding ceremony and everyone loved him! I would give him 10 stars if I could. I would highly recommend him.

Wonderful from the beginning. Prompt, courteous service with the website and the piper. The piper's skills of playing and speaking to the guests were top notch. The event went off without a hitch. The guests were delighted. I give the Royal Piper a full recommendation for any kind of get-together.

He was so courteous and respectful from the moment I spoke to him to the moment I met him. The day was a little crazy, as it was our wedding, but he performed beautifully and was so professional. It was the best decision I could have made choosing him! I would absolutely refer this royal piper to anyone interested in a bagpipe player for any event.

A talented, gifted professional who went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was special and memorable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AL THE ROYAL PIPER. Al arrived early, prepared and greeted our guest with superior level bagpipe pieces. Our family and friends RAVED about his gifted playing. Al also went out of his way to correct some of our kilt dress errors to ensure we were correct, respectable and our wedding memories would be cherished. You receive more than a talented bagpiper but also a contributing professional to your special occassion. Thank you Al.

Called ahead and arrived an hour early for the graveside service. Offered excellent suggestions on how to integrate musical selections into the service. Impeccably dressed, professional, friendly, and the music was outstanding.

WeddingReviewed on December 9, 2012From West Sayville, NY

Al was amazing. We booked Al 8 months prior to our wedding, and by we, the bride and the groom's mother and father. The groom was kept in the dark. Al arrived in street clothes, looking very nonchalant, and when he started to play at the start of the ceremony, the groom was blown away. We cannot say enough about Al, he was immensely helpful in selecting our processional and recessional. We would highly recommend him to friends, family, and in fact, bride and groom recommended him to another couple this morning while stopping at the venue to pick up our remaining items!

Our experience with the Royal Piper couldn't be better. I've already recommended him to a friend who called me to ask about him for her daughters wedding. Our wedding was on December 26th and it snowed 28 inches that day/night. Despite that, he came on time and added a great deal to the wedding. He was playing in the blowing wind and snow as if it was a spring day! He never complained about the weather... It was a very small wedding that was pushed up 10 months because my father is ill. We are having a larger 2nd wedding in October down in the Carolina's and if I had the money I would buy his plane ticket to play for us again. Would definitely recommend!

We hired The Royal Piper for a 21st birthday party with friends & family flying into the US from Scotland. The Royal Piper was so lovely to work with and the everyone (especially Scottish attendees!) were overjoyed by his presence. We would strongly recommend bringing him on to contribute great spirits to any event!

As I approached the church by cab, the first person I saw Was The Royal Piper and I smiled. It gave me great comfort seeing Him there early. He was dressed to the hilt in his kilt & looked Like he belonged on a Scottish mountainside. He played every song I requested, made great suggestions, was incredibly Professional and everyone loved him. My brother was surely smiling down Upon us. Thank you so much.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on November 29, 2011From Totowa, NJ

The Royal Piper played outside the church at my third son's wedding on 11/18/11. This being the last time I would be the mother of the groom, I wanted to cherish these moments for everyone to enjoy...and we did! From the very first prompt email from The Royal Piper, my questions in between, to the last note played, everything was perfect--it was a pleasure speaking with him, his punctuality, talent, vibrant outfit, his music was the ultimate in bagpiping. Our family is Irish and we know how to critique a bagpiper, and the bride's family is Polish and I didn't expect so many wonderful compliments on his overall music and appearance. I want to hear him again!

Al, "The Royal Piper" was the easiest person to deal with during my entire wedding process. He was accomodating, professional, courteous, and amazingly talented. I cannot say enough about how easy he was to work with. I had absolutely ZERO stress when planning with Al which was a nice break from the rest of the wedding! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a bagpiper, for a wedding, funeral, party, or any type of celebration. He is wonderful. All of my guests continue to tell me how nice it was to have the pipes played at the wedding and I am certain that any other piper would not have done such a fantastic job. THANK YOU AL! Al was just fabulous. Not only is he extremely talented, but so accommodating and warm and friendly. He was a surprise gift from my husband and I to our future son-in-law for the wedding day and he could not have more delighted. Al delighted the entire New York City crowd gathered at the South Street Seaport as he led the entire bridal party up onto the Peking ship docked there for a photo op. We would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to hire a Piper. He was the best. Thanks so much for making the day perfect.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on July 9, 2011From Rye, NY

The only time I became really emotional at the church was when i pulled up in my limo, and saw and heard Al playing; It was truly moving; He looked amazing, sounded amazing and people were really impressed. He was very accomodating, and patient; It began to thunderstorm after the ceremony and he had planned originally to come back to our home during pictures; I ended up relieving him of that part of the job; I didnt want to put him out, especially since we didnt know what our next move would be re: outdoor photos. He was so sweet, waited patiently while we decided what to do. He could have been a family member or friend, thats how sweet he was. ~Sarah and Mark 7/8/11

Al the Royal Piper was absolutely amazing! The Royal Piper played music prior to our beach wedding ceremony as guests made their way to their seats, while I walked down the aisle (he even plays "Here Comes the Bride), and our exit after the ceremony concluded. The Royal Piper looked professional in his kilt and plaids and sounded fantastic- he totally set the mood for our wedding on the beach. He is great with communication- we talked via e-mail and phone as well. I would 100% recommend The Royal Piper without hesitation- my guests all loved him as well, we got so many compliments!! THANK YOU AL! :)
