This was the second time I've hired Al-- a consummate professional, and brilliant Piper, with a sparkling personality-- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

As I approached the church by cab, the first person I saw
Was The Royal Piper and I smiled. It gave me great comfort seeing
Him there early. He was dressed to the hilt in his kilt & looked
Like he belonged on a Scottish mountainside. He played every song
I requested, made great suggestions, was incredibly
Professional and everyone loved him. My brother was surely smiling down
Upon us. Thank you so much.

The Royal Piper played outside the church at my third son's wedding on 11/18/11. This being the last time I would be the mother of the groom, I wanted to cherish these moments for everyone to enjoy...and we did! From the very first prompt email from The Royal Piper, my questions in between, to the last note played, everything was perfect--it was a pleasure speaking with him, his punctuality, talent, vibrant outfit, his music was the ultimate in bagpiping. Our family is Irish and we know how to critique a bagpiper, and the bride's family is Polish and I didn't expect so many wonderful compliments on his overall music and appearance. I want to hear him again!

Al, "The Royal Piper" was the easiest person to deal with during my entire wedding process. He was accomodating, professional, courteous, and amazingly talented. I cannot say enough about how easy he was to work with. I had absolutely ZERO stress when planning with Al which was a nice break from the rest of the wedding! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a bagpiper, for a wedding, funeral, party, or any type of celebration. He is wonderful. All of my guests continue to tell me how nice it was to have the pipes played at the wedding and I am certain that any other piper would not have done such a fantastic job. THANK YOU AL! Al was just fabulous. Not only is he extremely talented, but so accommodating and warm and friendly. He was a surprise gift from my husband and I to our future son-in-law for the wedding day and he could not have more delighted. Al delighted the entire New York City crowd gathered at the South Street Seaport as he led the entire bridal party up onto the Peking ship docked there for a photo op.
We would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to hire a Piper. He was the best.
Thanks so much for making the day perfect.

The only time I became really emotional at the church was when i pulled up in my limo, and saw and heard Al playing; It was truly moving; He looked amazing, sounded amazing and people were really impressed. He was very accomodating, and patient; It began to thunderstorm after the ceremony and he had planned originally to come back to our home during pictures; I ended up relieving him of that part of the job; I didnt want to put him out, especially since we didnt know what our next move would be re: outdoor photos. He was so sweet, waited patiently while we decided what to do. He could have been a family member or friend, thats how sweet he was. ~Sarah and Mark 7/8/11

Al the Royal Piper was absolutely amazing!
The Royal Piper played music prior to our beach wedding ceremony as guests made their way to their seats, while I walked down the aisle (he even plays "Here Comes the Bride), and our exit after the ceremony concluded.
The Royal Piper looked professional in his kilt and plaids and sounded fantastic- he totally set the mood for our wedding on the beach.
He is great with communication- we talked via e-mail and phone as well.
I would 100% recommend The Royal Piper without hesitation- my guests all loved him as well, we got so many compliments!!
THANK YOU AL! :)

The Royal Piper, Al, was extremely courteous, professional and a wonderful piper. He contacted me several times prior to the event to discuss our needs, and offered recommendations. He played tunes appropriately for our Daughters' Wedding while guests were arriving to the Venue, the Chapel, and during the Cocktail Hour. Everyone thought he was wonderful! We would recommend Al to everyone.

Al was amazing…If you are looking for a talented Piper for your special event, you honestly don’t need to look anymore, just hire Al. He was extremely professional, kind and made our day so special….even when he stood in the rain during our outdoor ceremony, he still had a warm smile on his face. He knows tons of songs and made some great recommendations for our wedding. Trust me, I don’t like to recommend people I don’t believe in and you will be guaranteed a great piper for your special day if you hire Al. In addition, take a minute to read his bio, it is really fascinating and he is such an interesting man. Thanks Al, you are AWESOME!!!
