Roger was late due to traffic, but he made up for it by working past the time he was supposed to. His caricatures were amazing- he is very talented and all the guests were very happy with their caricatures. He worked hard, nonstop, with a constant line of wedding guests. He also gave us a custom color caricature he did of my husband and I and it was very awesome. I would absolutely recommend him and am so pleased we used him!

Very satisfied with Roger Hurtado’s services! He is extremely talented and very professional. I will totally recommend him for any event/party. We hired him for a company promotion event and everyone loved him, people lined up and waited to get a cartoon from him.

the line was never ending and he continued to work until the line was gone. He was great and everyone loved him. Some drawings were definitely better than others, but I think that may depending on how much one's "personality" shines through to him. My only disappointment was that he didn't draw more than 2 people..just wish I knew ahead of time and that not everyone was drawn (definitely not his fault - he was popular)...just would recommend for a wedding of 100 to consider having 2 artists with you want to accommendate everyone. A lot of people choose not to get drawn because the line was too long. I would highly recommend Roger !!!!

Roger was a big hit with my guests. He has a great personality! He was only scheduled to be at the wedding reception for 2 hrs but there was a huge line so I asked him to stay an extra hour and he did! I was able to write him a check right then and there and the guests were happy!
The only thing I was a little disappointed with was I had asked him to write our wedding date and names on each paper and he did not. Otherwise it was great and all guests enjoyed him and were laughing!

Mr. Hurtado was AMAZING!!! This was my first time ever using this type of entertainment at a party and it will not be the last! He was so nice to all the children and made all the adults laugh a lot! His talent was unbelievable and left us all talking about it way after he left. His ability to interact with EVERYONE was amazing. We are so glad we had the opportunity to experience what he had to offer. DEFINITLEY RECCOMEND!!!! We are already thinking of when we can hire him again! A big thanks to Gig Masters and of course a huge thank you to Roger!

Roger was professional,prompt & courteous! My husband & I loved his work as well as all our guest. Roger came in and went straight to work on his 1st client within minutes of being there. Our guest felt relaxed while being drawn. We would defanitly refer Roger & Gig Masters to everyone we know that's looking for Gigs!!!

Roger Hurtado is definitely a talented professional who is timely, accurate & accountable. Finished product captures that one (or more) unique element in a person' facial personality and hones in on the expression of it.
He exceeded our expectations by accommodating our group of 47 guests, who were very slow to sit for the few minutes of sketching with him, so he took it upon himself to stay through the entire party of 4.5 hours at no extra cost (contract was for 3.5 hours).
As much as he was engaged in his own work & checking text messages during our awards banquet, he seemed to enjoy himself & began clapping for all of our award winners too!!

I'd like to clarify that I don't normally check text messages during an event and only did so since there was was CONSIDERABLE down-time due to dinner and the awards presentation which cut into my contracted time. It was no easy feat for most of the guests to arrive at the party during a snow-storm (even the client was late), so I tried to be accomodating (It should also be noted that the client finalized the booking THE DAY OF THE EVENT, and I arrived 45 minutes early).
I'm also not sure what the client means by "engaged in my own work." I spent most of the down-time sketching one of the people handing out awards and otherwise waiting.

Despite the short notice, Roger was very accomodating for our holiday party. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was very professional. Everyone loved our holiday surprise and the drawings were such fun! A great way to entertain guests and provide them a take home gift. Roger was fast, but took time to get to know each of his subjets so the picture reflected their personality. He was also able to stay longer than scheduled so everyone could get a picture. All in all it was a big hit and a great addition to our party. We would highly recommend Roger.

Very talented artist. Everyone enjoyed the experience of having roger there, being drawn, watching him draw, showing the drawing, etc. Definitely a fun, different addition to our wedding reception. The only "problem" would be that you should double the time you want to book him for and therefore expect to pay double what you are budgeting. Once he is there the line does not end and its difficult to cut it off. All in all, worth the extra expense it may be.

I hired Roger for my son’s birthday party and he was phenomenal!! Not only was he on time and professional but he has an incredible and gifted talent for drawing!
