Poor Man's Gambit played our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on 6/3/16. My husband loves Irish music and I wanted to surprise him and he absolutely loved it... everyone did! The ceremony music was beautiful! Corey was responsive to my numerous email questions and requests and everything went seamlessly day of! Thank you, Poor Man's Gambit!

Poor Man's Gambit performed for a whole school assembly at my elementary school. Students ranged in age from Kindergarten to fifth grade students. The students loved the performance. I appreciated their willingness to talk about the different music and instruments they were playing. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend having them play at your event.

PMG was such a crowd pleaser for our virtual event! They were engaging, conversational, well prepared and SO TALENTED! They even did a q&a for us. Highly recommend - wish I could have kept listening for hours

They were super organized, very communicative, and incredibly accommodating. My husband and I were so happy they were there for our wedding day and guests were so impressed. We asked them to play for our cocktail hour and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful. Poor Man’s Gambit helped make our wedding uniquely memorable and we’ve received many compliments about the band from our guests, ranging from a 3-year old to those in the seventies — everyone loved them. Highly recommended. We would hire them again and are in fact thinking of future parties we might have as an excuse to ask them back. I’ve been listening to their albums since they performed.

We booked Corey and Poor Man's Gambit for a cocktail hour reception at an offsite sales meeting and they could not have been more professional, prompt, independent and entertaining. They're talented musicians that kept everyone dancing! Highly recommend booking this band!

BOOK THEM NOW. Poor Man's Gambit came to play at our corporate "St. Patrick's Day-themed" happy hour event in Manhattan and they are absolutely amazing. Corey is incredibly helpful and professional from start to finish. He accommodated my request for a fiddle player when we went with the duo option :) They were phenomenal. Sound was great and our employees loved it. PMG played a great mix of fast and slow. All around amazing! Can't express that enough! Will keep them in mind for future events!

Genevieve and Dylan came to plat for our dad's surprise 60th birthday. They were just amazing. They were the perfect addition to an Irish themed party. They took every request we had (even if they had to look it up quickly before hand). They played the guitar and fiddle, and Genevieve sang (her vocals are amazing). They got all the guests involved in singing and clapping, and everyone just loved them. We will definitely be calling them again next time we need an Irish band!
