We hired Alan to play non-distinctive Brazilian/Spanish background music for our schooner wedding around Casco Bay and he did an unbelievable job. (He even played a few special Neil Young and Tom Petty requests, which our guests loved!) Alan was punctual, professional, and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend!

Alan was extremely professional and a wonderful addition to our wedding. He visited the venues ahead of time to be of his surroundings etc. He surprised me with my favorite song At Last since he did not have enough time to learn the song. I was truly thrilled to hear the song played when we finished our vows. His skills are exceptional and never seemed to take a break. He is very dedicated to making sure everyone was having a good time. An excellent musician!!!

Sadly, Alan wasn't exactly what we had in mind for this occasion. I was surprised to see a big set up with sound system and speakers when we got to the fire pit area. I appreciate his willingness to try to accommodate us but despite researching the music and lyrics we could tell this was not his forte. I realized we needed more lead time.

We all seemed to have different lyrics . I never played any of your songs before and crammed for two weeks truing to learn them some keys were not good for you guys.We all had different lyrics. Working with Alan was fantastic. We hired him to play at my father's memorial service. Communication prior to the event was excellent and he was very accommodating of special requests. I worked with him over email to make a playlist of my father's favorite songs and he had excellent suggestions that suited the style we were looking for. On the day of the funeral, he arrived an hour early to set up. Many guests arrived earlier than we expected, and he read the situation and started playing early to set the mood. His performance was beautiful and peaceful - perfect for the setting. Planning a funeral is hard, and Alan made the music piece easy and stress free.
