Jim was amazing!! True, talented professional!! Played our ceremony and cocktail hour and our guests were very impressed!! We were married in Mexico in June and wanted to bring the feeling home for our ceremony and reception here. Jim was the perfect fit to make it feel like Mexico all over again! Jim was fantastic. I highly recommend him for any event. I am a musician and band teacher, so I am very picky about music. He performed for my wedding cocktail hour, and everyone was blown away by his skill, approachability, and professionalism. Honestly, I couldn't have been more pleased and give him my highest recommendation.

Jim Perona's work is outstanding and deserves 10 stars of 5. His musical abilities & knowledge are vast and his communication is perfect, he answered all my inquiries within minutes. I had him transcribe a very intricate classical piece for me, Matthew Cutillo, GigMasters' #1 ranked acoustic guitarist nationwide. I may hold top spot, but with all honesty and sincerity, it is my guitar teacher Jim Perona I contact when I am at a loss, with abilities & education spanning far beyond my understanding. Jim played our outdoor wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. His classical guitar playing was just what we needed to create the perfect ambiance at our wedding. We loved how he played not only a collection of classical pieces, but also pop songs! His talent is truly amazing! He even learned the Hawaiian version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow for my mom. I cannot say enough great things about Jim! He made our event even more special! Thanks again Jim!

We had Jim for a rehearsal party and he was outstanding from start to finish in every way. He was very prompt in responding to emails and calls prior to the party and customized his set list according to our requests. He even learned a new song which is special to the bride and groom just for us! His talent level is AMAZING as is the variety of his repertoire. He provided "background" for our party but his talent level is worthy of solo performance events: just look at the recital videos on his website. We could not have been more satisfied with Jim. If you are looking for a solo acoustic performer, he is your guy!!!

I give Jim Perona the highest ratings possible. He showed up on time, was very flexible, dressed appropriately for the occasion and was an excellent performer. Jim entertained our guests during the cocktail hour which preceeded our wedding reception. He required little direction and played a nice variety of music. I received numerous complements -some saying that he added an element of class to the event. He was a good value too. Thanks Jim, I'd definately hire him for anothe occasion.

It was a pleasure to work with Jim as the musician for our wedding ceremony. He was quick to respond to any communication and was willing to work with us to make our ceremony exactly as we imagined! We received multiple compliments from our guests on the ease and beauty with which Jim played. We can say enough good things! Jim did a marvelous job! All of our guests were musicians, so it was important that we have a performer that was proficient in his instrument and Jim was surely that! Everything about working with Jim was great. He answered my emails right away, worked on special requests, was very proactive with information. The ceremony was beautiful, a little windy, but it was great and exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended.
