Ben Roberts played solo violin for my husband's 40th birthday party. He is very talented and many people commented on their appreciation for the music. He had a wide selection of pieces that he played. I would definitely recommend him to friends for future events.

Working with Lara was great! She was very helpful, and they have an extensive musical repertoire. Everything leading up to our wedding went beautifully, as did the ceremony and the reception. My only complaint would be that the music wasn't very loud during the reception, but I feel that was more an issue of the space / venue set-up and not at all Lara's fault. I would definitely recommend them!

It was very easy to work with the members of Ocean Sands, and they were very prompt in responding to my e-mails and requests. I got a variety of feedback from our guests that they thought the music was beautiful. Overall, I was very pleased!

I hired a string quartet through the Ocean Sands Trio. I'm not sure whether any members of the quartet were actually members of the trio or not, but no matter. The quartet leader, Kristi, was accommodating to my requests for certain pieces, and although I did not get to hear much of the music (it was my wedding day, and they were playing the prelude & recessional), I received many compliments on the music. I would recommend working with them!

Unfortunately Lara the Harpist I hired for my wedding couldn't make it becuase of the emergency issues, but she is able find me a very professional haripst at the last minutes. The services was great.Thank You Lara.

The trio played a program of Mozart, Beethoven, and Shubert (mutually selected) in a living room concert for an audience of 50 friends celebrating my husband's birthday. Each piece was performed beautifully, and the Beethoven piano trio (No 1, Op1 in Eb major) was spectacular. We and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the concert and encore -- and enthusiastically recommend this group.

We were very happy with the duo, who performed beautifully on the day of the wedding. We felt a little frustrated when making arrangements - less flexibility than we expected in determining the music, and also some unnecessary rigidity in the contracting (we asked to "stop the clock" to build in a 10 minute break between ceremony and cocktail hour - partly so the musicians could change location - but were told that was not acceptable... and as it turned out, the musicians did indeed take 10 minutes to change location). Despite that, we were extremely happy with the musicians' performance and demeanor.

My only regret is that I could not meet with them before hand but thanks to friends and your website we managed to find an excellent trio from Connecticut for a California wedding with very little difficulty. I was very pleased with Amethyst Trio and appreciate the songs they played that I requested. I just only noticed that towards the end of the ceremony I only saw the 2 violinists and didn't know where the cello player went. I thought maybe he went to the restroom but noticed he was gone for the rest of the ceremony.
