We got so many compliments about the great mix of music. John played all our requests, and was well spoken and professional during the announcements. Also, we really appreciated how quickly he got back to us about questions and changes prior to the event. 5 stars all around!

Working with John was a pleasure throughout the entire process-- from booking, till his willingness to stay late when our wedding reception went over time. He was always professional, and clearly knew what he was doing every step of the way. And I highly recommend having him sing at your event as well- he has a great voice – I only wish I had asked him to sing in at our cocktail hour!

John couldn't have been easier to work with. He was able to confirm with us and plan all the details between phone and e-mail. My (now) husband and I were very indecisive on some of the song selections we wanted, and John was able to accommodate us very last minute. Even though our "must play" selections were a little off the grid (like the love song from Enchanted), John was able to get them for us with no problem. He was able to read the crowd and played music that went with every mood. We couldn't have been happier!!!

Our event was unusual and complex. Alden did a wonderful job of understanding our vision, answering questions beforehand, coming to planning meetings and performing that night. I would use Alden again and recommend to friends. Thank you!

John Alden is professional, accomodating, punctual, honest, and presents himself well. Although our wedding only required a single DJ and a prescribed playlist, he timed it beautifully and was willing to stay a little later at no charge. I would recommend him without reservation.

Excellent!! Totally professional and the sound quality was top notch. John and Kelly did a wonderful job and helped make our wedding day that much more special. We would absolutely hire them for any upcoming event that we may have in the future. If you are getting married, do not be afraid to hire these two, you will NOT be disappointed one bit!

I had spoken with a few different DJ's and decided on Alden Entertainment for my adult birthday party. The party was heavy on 70's disco. He understood it and people were dancing all night. The BIG plus is John's terrific voice. More than a few of my guests commented on his singing.The venue was beautiful,the food was fabulous and the addition of Alden entertainment made the party perfect. I could not have asked for anything more. If you need music ? You need John. BOB B NYC

Hired John Alden for my disco/ dance birthday party and he was terrific!! I was very nervous hiring someone unknown. But, after speaking with John via phone I got a good sense. Plus he had lots of positive reviews. John was very professional and easy to work with. I provided 70's disco tunes and also requested that he play other upbeat party tunes. He totally delivered, was good at reading the crowd and kept the party moving! The easiest part of my party planning was hiring Alden Entertainment. I would totally recommend John and Alden Entertainment.

John is a Pro, Five Stars all around. We gave him a Playlist to mix that needed to be followed to the letter in order to stick to our Party time frame and John pulled it off flawlessly. All the guests had a really great time. We look forward to working with Alden Entertainment again.
