We had a very good experience with Derek. He was very professional and helpful and made sure even before our party that we had everything he needed to make our guests happy. Derek was very accomodating and my daughter loved all the music he had with him! Great selection. . .She wished he had more lighting and the sound was good but did not go loud enough...The room we had party in was quite large and has high ceiling, so that might have had something to do with it. The kids asked him to turn up some of the songs, but he was already at max volume. It was fine for us older folks, but you know how the kids like it? Prior to the party, Derek responded promptly to all emails and accepted our song list in advance so he could be sure he had everything we wanted. He set up in plenty of time so he was ready to go when the guests arrived. He opened the dance floor right away, invited people to dance without being aggressive about it. He introduced songs from time to time, and even made a weird announcement about the cake for me! (A silly way to let people know it was time for cake.) He was willing to have us make speeches, but everyone was having such a good time with the music and dancing that we all forgot about speeches. I would definitely hire him again.

Derek was very professional and we loved that he dealt with us personally. He kept everyone at our company holiday party on the dance floor and moving! We hired him at the last minute when our previous DJ cancelled on us and he put everything together very quickly - the event was a huge success! Can't thank you enough Derek!

We couldn't have been more pleased with Derek's performance at our daughter's Sweet Sixteen Party! Derek arrived early and was well prepared. He played all of the songs our daughter requested in advance as well as those of her guests during the evening. It is a difficult task to get 16 year old boys up on the dance floor but, in no time at all, Derek managed to do so and the feedback my daughter has received from her friends over the past few days has been wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Derek Evan to my friends for their future events. He was professional, charismatic and very, very entertaining!

Derek Evan was an asset to our 40th high school reunion celebration. We had an agenda, and he graciously and patiently accepted our requests for usage of the microphone, song requests, and announcements that we asked him to make. He even held the microphone for one of classmates while she sang a rather lengthy song. He is a true professional, and I would definately recommend him to friends, as well as retain his services for future events that we may have. Yes, he performed very nicely even though 78% of our guests are Korean. He handle whole program very smooth and professionaly.
