Robert is a professional. He listened to what we wanted and made some suggestions that were far better than our original plan. He demonstrated flexibility as the event went on. On his own initiative, he worked with the sound engineer for the large band, that would be playing later in the evening, to diffuse the point source of his bagpipe so that the sound was more even for all of the guests to enjoy. We look forward to engaging him another time.

Robert Mitchell has given my family a priceless gift. At the end of my Dad's celebration of life, his rendition of Amazing Grace brought tears to our eyes and filled our hearts with joy. He played another piece or two as people came out of the church, and the entire crowd was mesmerized. Thank you, thank you, Mr. Mitchell!!

Robert is a very nice man who made a point of coming early to get the lay of the land and practice, he was very professional.

Thank you for your Review. When a bagpiper arrives at a dinner, wedding, or even a funeral it is necessary to play the instrument for a few minutes beforehand to stabilize the 4 reeds. Each reed will have its own temperature and moisture level needed for optimum sound. This blowing in period is necessary for the very best sound and is often mistaken for "practice". I practice daily at home, and always tune my instrument in order to deliver the very best sound possible. Robert Mitchell

He was very professional, and played beautifully for our moms funeral, everyone was satisfied with his performance. It was definitely shorter then I expected. I thought he would’ve played a little longer of amazing grace, but its fine no big deal. He definitely gave a great experience to honor our mom!

This was my second Fox/ Hound Event. I loved it. The hounds, the horses, the costumes, and the delicious cookies were perfect on this beautiful November morning. I tried to imagine a fox out there scheming and planning his route over the hills and through the woods to keep up the spirits throughout the event.

It meant so much to have Robert's expertise on the day of my father's funeral. I knew we could trust him to play beautiful music but also knew we could trust him to show up, perform with professionalism, and know the flow of the event without much instruction which freed us up to focusing on the event itself.
