I could not possibly be any happier that I booked through Bash and that I went with Aloha Hulu. Tiare was amazing with kids and adults. She taught the kids a few Hawaiian words, customs, history in addition to the music and dancing. She had everyone's attention from the moment she came in. The price was just what I expected and I'm very pleased with the whole thing start to finish. The person who called me was very responsive and answered all of my questions. I booked the dancer with very short notice only 3 weeks before the event and they were able to get everything set with no issues and plenty of communication. 11 out of 10 for me.

Anne was our performer and she was AMAZING. Very professional and talented. She had our guests participating with the Hawaiian dances. Everyone from all ages 4 to 90 years old had a great time. Thanks so much Anne for making my Mom's birthday the best ever! Highly recommended!!!

As a Pacific Islander Polynesian, I have to praise the professionalism & AUTHENTICITY of this duo: Anne (Mati) & Heather at my daughter’s grad BBQ party in VA. I was worried that I would get a cheap knockoff of costumes &/or performances as my guests included islanders who know authenticity & fakes, BUT THIS WAS NOT the case. The performances & island wear were ON POINT! Anne is a local Hawaiian girl & Heather is married to a local Samoan who teach their children these Polynesian dances. I am so pleased I went with Anne’s group/business! Anne was flexible & so easy to work with. She brought her own sound system. She had plenty instruments to engage with my guests. ??

We really enjoyed having Aloha DC come out and perform at our baby's Moana themed 1st Birthday Party. Dancers were great with our guest. We will most definitely book for any other event we will be having in the near future.

My event was fantastic! I was nervous about everyone participating but Anne got the whole party up and doing the Hula! She was a fantastic teacher and the show had a great flow! The dance was definitely the big hit of our party and with the guests sharing their praises with me as well! Very happy I booked them for my party ??

Mati was awesome! For a kids party (4yr old bday) where she had to compete with a water slide she was amazingly patient and handled the kids beautifully! Our guests and myself were impressed by her grace and elegance! We Absolutely loved the true Hawaiian influence she brought to our event! Thanks Mati!

Aloha Hula DC was FABULOUS at our Church Women's Tea with a polynesian theme. Anne was wonderful and accommodated all of our requests. The performance was very professional, truly exciting, colorful and thorougly entertaining. During the audience participation segment Anne had everyone up, young and old, on their feet swaying their hips. It was such a big hit and THE HIGHLIGHT of the event! I highly recommend and would hire again.

Her performance of both hula and Tahitian dance was engaging, she did a great job with audience participation in a business/professional setting, and her music choice and costumes were great for a festive holiday party.
