Anne 'Mati' was great for my sister's luau themed bridal shower. Everyone knew the theme of the shower, but only a few people knew that Anne was coming. The shocked looks on my family's faces and their overall enthusiasm was fantastic. Everyone felt included and comfortable trying out some new hula moves. Having her there really tied the party together and I couldn't have asked for a better party! Thank you (Mahalo) Anne 'Mati'.

This was a wonderful experience! Mati is a lovely and talented young woman who performed flawlessly at the surprise birthday party for my husband. She explained the origin of each dance, with costume changes, and then taught lessons for our guests, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend Aloha Hula DC and Mati for your event!

Aloha Hula DC and in particular Anne "Mati" did an amazing job of interacting and working with not only the 20 children but also the adults at our party. Everyone was engaged and found the performance to be entertaining and education as Anne spent time discussing the background of Hula and how the the island ancestors would use Hula as a means to tell stories through dance. Overall Aloha Hula made our party a major success and I cannot recommend Anne and Aloha Hula DC enough! You will not regret having them at your event!

Thanks to Aloha Hula DC our guests had a wonderful time at the surprise 50th birthday lu'au party we threw for our cousin. Anne "Mati" kept in constant contact with me up until and even following the event. She was very punctual and accommodating. She was a surprise to our guests as well....and they truly enjoyed her. She was the icing on the cake for our event. I would highly recommend her to anyone. We will definitely use her again if we through a themed event.

I had a luau for my son who retired from the military. Mati was our greeter and handed out leis to our guests as they arrived. She performed several different hula dances and taught our guests how to hula. She posed for pictures with everyone who wanted one (and everyone did!), and even handed out gift boxes as our guests were leaving the event. We kept her quite busy and she handled everything with grace and professionalism. I highly recommend Mati, 100%, without a doubt! She is beautiful inside and out, and is very gracious and sweet. So much fun! If you want the best, hire Mati from Aloha Hula DC!

Oh my goodness!!!!!! What a time to be had by all!!!!!! I can truly say that Anne and Aloha Hula DC was the best! Anne was very prompt, engaging, and very professional. My guess really enjoyed the dancing and I really enjoyed seeing my husband relaxing and dancing as well. We will definately use Aloha Hula DC again!

Ann was above & beyond awesome! The people that attended the party can't stop talking about her. My uncle had a blast and keeps talking about her too. Everyone really enjoyed her show and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to hire a hula dancer for any event. She was amazing! She definitely knows how to dance and knows her history on Hawaiian dances and more!!! <3 Thank you so much for giving us a day to never forget!!

I couldn't have asked for a better, more accomodating group. We had two dancers who assisted us with greeting our guests and then put on a show that was filled with familiar music and dance from a variety of Polynesian islands. The dancers wore a variety of costumes and provided several opportunities to learn to hula. They also were available for photos at the end of the dance session. Exellent job!

Anne Matematico Was fabulous and I would highly recommend her to any event. She was like family not a stranger to the group. She made me and everyone else feel at ease and good about our ok dancing. We all agreed that it was fun and something we would not mind doing again. She made the evening more than I could of imagined. Connie had a wonderful time and was first to post pics on her FB page. We loved Mati! She was as nice as she was beautiful & talented. She made everyone feel special, especially the bride-to-be! She definitely got everyone in a Hawaiian mood....and she was the highlight of our event. Everyone was greatly anticipating her arrival and we were talking about her performance well after she left.
