Fil Lorenz orchestra played as a trio on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for our winery's "Music on the Terrace" series. We saw about 1800 people that day and the feedback from guests and staff alike was fantastic. The trio set a an easy yet energetic tone to the day. The big hit was their antique Hammond Organ which set the "60's Soul Jazz and Boogaloo Band" style. Fil recommended this style for our guests and it proved to be the right call. Hale and the Fil Lorenz orchestra were phenomenal. We did not want a typical "wedding band," and Hale was anything but typical. She and the band were first class all the way through - from the perfect trio cocktail music, to the swinging standards, to the funky dance set at the end. My wife Bea and I would strongly recommend Hale to anyone who is looking for a professional, accommodating, and most of all, talented, group of musicians for their wedding or any other classy affair.

The performance of Hale and her band was excellent. They adapted very well to the audience and the warm voice and talent of Hale helped to make the whole evening a complete success. We can't wait to hear Hale beautiful voice live again.

Hale and her band are great performers. The song selection was excellent and they were flexible, playing a specific arrangement of a song for our first dance. Everyone at our wedding enjoyed the music very much and we would definitely hire Hale again for another event and highly recommend her to others.

I work for a retail company whom was fortunate enough to work with the Fil Lorenz Orchestra for a client driven event. Fil and the members of the orchestra were incredibly accommodating, professional, personable and incredibly talented! Employees and clients alike were extremely complimentary and very entertained! We could all agree we didn't want the festivities to end, and we can attribute a large part of the event's success to the Fil Lorenz Orchestra. We would be more than delighted to work with them again!

They hauled a real organ up the mountain, because a keyboard simulation won't do for them. It has to be the real thing, and that's just the way they played. Great performance by Hale and band!

From the moment of their arrival, Hale and her band were gracious professionals. Just warming up, the band was fantastic and our guests immediately headed for their seats. Hale's performance was fantastic, far surpassing even the great sounds we had heard on her youtube! Because it was an intimate group, Hale and the band performed some of their very favorites and the crowd absolutely loved it! The band is incredible on their own and with Hale's outstanding vocals and energy, it was an impressive performance with everyone totally involved. I absolutely recommend Hale Baskin for anyone who wants great jazz entertainment!

The music at my parents' 50th anniversary was fantastic. At the last minute Hale got sick, but her father found another vocalist named Mille who took over and sang with Hale's guitarist. We appreciated the quality substitution that Hale's father was able to make. We look forward to booking Hale for another event.

The manager got everything and everybody ready to go. The assembled group had not all played together before, but they did a fine job. They also "backed up" Hale nicely for her vocals. Hale is a very promising young talent and was clearly in charge of the musical presentation. As noted, highly recommended. Many favorable comments from the guests a well.

Hale was a great performer! She is immensely talented, and provided a wonderful performance for our 60th birthday party. Quality of performance A+ But be forewarned; Lead Singer & Musical Director arrived 30 minutes after performance was to have begun. Worth the wait--YES. Hope this promising young talent pulls the business side together FAST.

The Gigmasters requested start time was 6:30pm, It was changed by email to 6:00 and the band did start at 6:00. I was to start singing the last few songs of the first set which I did. It is unfortunate that we were delayed due to extremely adverse weather and road conditions and I am truly sorry about the stress it caused the event planner. We are usually 99% on time and emergencies causing a change in schedule are extremely rare. We played overtime and everyone enjoyed the party. Hale

Wow! I never thought we would get caught in the middle of an internal power struggle playing at a quiet little winery in the country. The air was tense the minute we got there. I can't say that we did anything different than we always do. Start on time, perform music appropriate for the event, conduct ourselves in a friendly and accommodating manner and follow the direction of the person in charge. Unfortunately, in this case, it was the adversary of the person writing this customer review.
