Tom was a pleasure to work with and played absolutely beautiful music at our small wedding ceremony. He was very accommodating, had great communication, and was very receptive to some of our song requests. Not to mention he is an amazing guitarist that had many guests speaking his praises! He played a wide variety of songs - from classical music, to Spanish music, to modern hits. I would definitely recommend Tom to everyone!

Tom was communicative prior to the event. Arrived on time and was very professional. He is very talented and my only wish was that my timing of our event would have been better to enjoy more of his music. It went too quickly and before I knew it he was done. I totally lucked out with Tom Duarte.. He was the perfect match for our little luncheon group. The owner of the venue, Mi Pueblo on Petaluma Blvd. commented on how good Tom was and he may use Tom at one or other of his restaurants. Yes, we were pleased and thank GigMaster for being the go between.

We hired Tom to perform at our wedding reception in the redwoods. He was amazing on all fronts, but some takeaways:
-he was super easy to work with on logistics, was very fast to respond to emails, and accomodating to our requests (we asked for him to add a few songs to his repertoire)
-his price is super reasonable! A brings a lot of value
-he was the perfect accompaniment for our event - an upbeat and latin-inflected acoustic sound. just lovely.
-His sound was especially great for the setting - echoing through the towering trees. It was ethereal and PERFECT.
-We got many compliments for him, and we can't recommend him enough.

Tom contacted me immediately after I hired him for our corporate event to ensure he was available on the date requested, provide additional samples of his music, discuss attire, and of course, review his song selections and approach. He arrived in advance of the event and set himself up with little direction and began performing shortly thereafter. This gave me the opportunity to focus my energy and attention to the other elements of our event. He played continuously and had background music playing while he took his break, which allowed continuous music during our event. Tom was fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend him for your next event.

What can I say about Tom that probably isn't already known. Tom showed up early and did not require much direction. He brought all of his gear up and was set up in no time. He played for us in our office while we had a Latin American/Spanish influenced evening. The songs he played were traditional but were also more modern songs that people would recognize which was nice. He was professional, super nice and I would recommend him for any intimate or relaxing setting type of event. Everybody on the team loved having him play for us and you would have never known he was there that's how seamless it was while he was here.

Tom was top notch! We met with Tom a few times at his gig's prior to our wedding. His communication was great, very professional and extremely talented. I had a few guests at our wedding that asked for his contact information for some upcoming events they have. Tom was very accommodating from the begin of our wedding planning process until now after we have gotten married. Tom took the time to learn my husband and my song to pay as I walked down the aisle. All of Tom's songs were beautiful and he played a very good variety of modern and Spanish songs. If we could give Tom Duarte 10 stars we would! We hired Tom to perform at a special birthday celebration. He exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only was he dependable, punctual, professional, he played beautifully for nearly 3 hours and even learned a few new requested songs for us! He played these new songs perfectly. I have viewed Susan F's review of my performance on May 5th. I feel that I might have come up short of expectations as I came up 3 in all categories. I sensed that Susan may have been somewhat disappointed that my performance was more of what you would consider "background" music as opposed to being an "entertainer" in the traditional sense. There are several videos and MP3 files of my music available on my Gigmasters profile that clearly and honestly represent what I do in live performance. I will have to say that while I wish that she might have been more pleased with my performance, that I have not misrepresented myself in any way as far as my capabilities.
