David was amazing. We had an outdoor Halloween party and he cam early, set up and immediately dee jayed until it was time for him to start. He played nonstop for prettying the entire night. The crowd loved the selection of song and talked about how versatile he was. We will be hiring him again for next years event.

David was excellent! He is a very talented musician with a wide range and variety and managed to keep a diverse audience entertained for over six hours. He was also a consummate professional, easily adapting to stay and play two hours longer when the event lasted longer than expected. We enjoyed his music so much we had no problem asking him back for another event the following night. You absolutely can’t go wrong – highly recommended!

David was perfect! He performed at our family reunion last night and was a big hit! When we ate dinner, he set the perfect mellow tone and later when it became appropriate, he sang and we danced to his music. Then, when we wanted my cousin to get up and sing, he was there with a hugh book of song ideas for her and backed her up beautifully. He is a true professional. We were thrilled and will hire him again!

David was fantastic!! The event was for my daughter's college graduation luncheon/reception. David arrived in advance of our arrival after the graduation ceremony. He was set up before the party and began playing when our guest arrived. We were VERY pleased with David and his performance. He was professional, talented & very helpful; his music added was the added touch for the reception. We received many great comments on his performance and my daughter was most pleased. David arrived promptly, set up and was ready to begin at the prearranged time. He was pleasant, personable and upbeat. He sang songs that I had requested prior to the event. My mom and the other residents at her assisted living home thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment he provided at her 80th birthday party. He sensed the audience he had and played at the volume and style appropriate to the crowd. I would definitely hire him again.

David provided the perfect acoustic guitar music and singing for my daughter's outdoor wedding ceremony. For the reception, he was an excellent DJ and emcee. The only problem we encountered was that our guests apparently made so many requests that he was not able to play some of the songs on the list we provided for him. I highly recommend that when sending out RSVP cards for weddings, ask each guest to request one song they would like to hear at reception and write it on their RSVP card. This might cut down on the number of special requests made. It was all good music anyway. David is extremely talented and professional! We enjoyed having him at our event!

David Payton is great to work with. He encourages requests and will learn a song if necessary to satisfy any specific song choices you may have. There was never any question as to his genuine sincerity in making sure he met and exceeded our expectations. A great performer and an even better guy. David and his wife were awesome. Very professional. Lovely people. David even learned several songs just for us. How awesome is that. I would recommend him to anyone! All of our guests told me after the party for days that David really made the party fun! It makes all the difference to have live music but he was so good and that was a true blessing and made the birthday so special for my boyfriend.
