If you are looking for a talented, professional, and energetic band - look no further. As a bride planning for my wedding out of state, I was extremely stressed out. Shine member Aaron put me at ease and guided me through the whole process. He was timely in his responses with any questions I had (and there were many). Mindy, the lead singer, helped me plan the music timeline for the reception and made it so easy for me.
Shine had all the wedding guests dancing until the very last minute. We did not want them to stop playing! Their music is diverse and well performed. I will definitely use them for future events.
Hire Shine! You will NOT regret it!

From my first contact with Shine, they were incredibly professional. They communicated with me consistently over the months leading up to my wedding and worked with me to iron out all details regarding music and scheduling of my reception. They happily obliged to all my requests and customized a set list for me.
The day of the wedding, the band set up without any issues and were dressed perfectly. They sounded amazing, kept my guests on the dance floor the entire night, and did a fantastic job emceeing. Countless guests let me know how much they loved the music what an awesome time they had. I highly recommend Shine to for a reception or any party!

Shine was fantastic. In every aspect, from the ceremony music to the reception, I could not have been happier with the performances. The band was very accomodating to our every request, including learning a new song for the event.
Aside from their accomodating behavior and professionalism, the band can flat out play. The entire band sounds great and they really played their hearts out. They really made the reception a success.
I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Shine was a fantastic band for our wedding. They were not only professional in helping us plan for our wedding day but additionally provided incredible entertainment for our guests. It was a pleasure to have Shine play for Enloe High School's Charity Ball, for their second year in a row. I had high expectations and Shine completely delivered with wonderful music and generosity. As this was a charity event, they donated part of their fee; but, the live music and DJ-ed portions were far from diminished and perfect for the event. They got the almost 900 attendees out on the dance floor! I was most impressed with how easy they were to work with. Aaron Gerlach contacted me immediately and stayed in touch throughout the planning process. They helped us with AV equipment and made every aspect of working with a band very easy.

Everyone at our Derby party (including us) love this Band. They are energenic, fantastic, enthusiastic, and are the best band around! Shine played at our party last year, again this year and we are looking forward to booking them again in 2014. Everyone from Shine makes our party even better and everyone says they can't wait until next year's party. You are missing out if you don't book them!

I was skeptical on Gigmasters when looking at all the "too good to be true" reviews, but once I got to know the band Shine, I knew they had to be true. I will honestly tell you that almost everybody came up to me after my wedding and told me that they were blown away by the band and my venue is now recommending them to brides. They were so organized and professional - and interacted with the crowd. All ages, from my little 3 year old niece to my 75 year old grandmother, were dancing and enjoyed their music. My father said to me "I was skeptical of you choosing a band, but I take that back now because I don't think anybody could have matched that performance."

Shine played for our wedding and did so much more of an amazing job than I could have EVER dreamed of! Everyone loved them - their energy, song selection, style, etc. They were soooo easy to work with and so flexible, accomodating, and always willing to help in any way! I would recommend this band over any other band that I have ever heard at a wedding reception (and I'm not just saying that because it was our wedding reception!) The band got people dancing that I have never seen dance before! I will forever recommend them to others and will without a doubt know that they will be pleased! We had Shine play at our wedding and they were so great! From the time we booked them til the end of the wedding, they were friendly and helpful. They even learned one of our favorite songs for us! They played 80's, 90's, beach music, motown, and the oh-so-favorite dance songs.
Shine DJ'd and played live music for us and our guests LOVED them! We heard so many of our guests raving about how much fun they were having. Shine was so easy to work with! They learned two special songs we really wanted played at our wedding and all the music they played was great. The whole night ran smoothly, thanks to their guidance and willingness to lead. We booked SHINE for our wedding, and they were incredible! Our dance floor was crowded all night... and we got several great compliments from our guests following the weeding! In addition, they were super accommodating in allowing my Grandfather to use their set-up to sing us a song! Also, due to the inclement weather our original schedule was changed and they were super accommodating and ensured our evening continued on smoothly! We booked SHINE without overseeing them perform live and could not be happier with our decision!! Very, very pleased with heir professionalism and amazing performance! I couldn't have asked for anything more from a band. The band members were all excited to be there and had a great time pumping up my guests! The band was awsome! Everyone at the party (150+) thoroughly loved them and they were a great addition to our party! We are looking forward to them playing for us again next year. They play to the crowd and get involved with all ages. Everyone was dancing and no one wanted them to stop playing, but then all good things must come to an end sometime.
If you want a really excellent band, you need to book these guys. I just can't say enough nice things about them. Again, they are awsome!

We were a bit scared that our crowd would be a bit too timid to get up and dance. However, we were pleasantly surprised that Shine was able to really get the crowd going. We had asked them to begin with some lighter music during dinner for which they learned some new songs. This portion of the show was great and was perfect background music. As the night progressed Shine got the party going. We couldn't have picked a better band for this occasion!

Shine was perfect for our wedding! Everyone was dancing the entire time. Many of our guests complimented the band and wanted to know how we found them. The band learned a song for our first dance, and spent hours before the event to personalize their performance for the wedding. I was very pleased with Shine! The band members were very easy to work with, and willing to be flexible with reception schedule changes. They remained calm and professional at all times, even when rain began to flood the reception tent and endanger their equipment. I first heard Shine at TirNaNog shortly after becoming engaged and they were so much fun and sounded so great that I asked for their information so that I could book them for our wedding. From the start, they were so nice and made sure to keep me updated on whenever they were playing in the area. I went to hear them a few times before our wedding and each time Mike remembered my name and made a point to come ever and say hello. Closer to the event, Mindy contacted me to get the details of the day and left me at ease knowing she would MC at the reception and keep things on track. The band even learned a new song for my dance with my Father. We highly recommend them!!
