This was one of the most challenging experience with a vendor / entertainment. The the vendor was rude and argumentative with event staff. He complained that he was being exposed to exhaust fumes despite being in un outdoor setting and not in close proximity . He was late arriving ( after the event started) and lodged multiple complaints. I will not use this person for future events as he diminished the positive energy intended for the overall event.

Contacted the customer earlier in the week due to the death of mother and the event, but would let know if I was not able to do so. Customer was also reminded of the requirements for my setup but had me setup in a outside area from what she previously sent in an email. There was no cover from the elements and no power. It took her staff almost an hour to locate a tent and set it up. There was also no extension cord to get to the power box but luckily i had one in my car that was on the edge of the length needed and able to move the tent closer to the area. The customer never introduced herself. I never argued with anyone but simply asked a staff member to please have a truck turn their engine or generator off since it was funneling fumes heavily to the area i was in! I value my life and would never disrespectful anyone much less like that! The customer was made aware of a major accident which caused a stand still in traffic 1 hr before arriving before event start.

I’m so glad I made the decision to book Sensory Expressions for my event! From start to finish, they were nothing short of exceptional—professional, creative, and incredibly talented. Vaughn and Sensory Expressions were the perfect band for our 50th anniversary of the founding of our sailing club. The cocktails and festive dancing by our members was superb. Sailing and Caribbean Island music belong together. Water and sailboats in the background provided a perfect atmosphere.

Vaughn and Sensory Expressions were the true highlight of our beach themed event! Just one note on that steel pan drum and you immediately get transported to somewhere tropical. We highly recommend Sensory Expressions and will definitely be reaching out to book them for our same event next year!

Sensory Expressions performed for my husband's 60th birthday party. They arrived early and prepared for the evening. Very professional from start to finish - excellent group ! Many comments from attendees of the North Carolina Food Truck State Championship in Randleman, NC such as I can close my eyes and feel like I'm in the Caribbean with a breeze blowing through my hair.
