I would like to thank Robert for playing at my wedding. It was that added touch that made the day sparkle a little more, also with all of us be nervous and having not had a rehersal he made some great recommendations that help greatly. He was very interetsing and personable and everyone loved him. He is a veteran of this great country's military like myself and many others who attended so I would say he is worth it on talent alone but also support our veterans. They would have sacrificed everything for you!!!
Anniversary Party•Reviewed on July 3, 2008•From Raleigh, NC
Robert performed for my in-law's 60th anniversary in Raleigh, NC. Although we were not in attendance because we were 2,000 miles away, the compliments and bravos abounded for his performance, his friendliness, his knowledge of bagpipe history, and his all-around congeniality. He not only pleased my very Scottish father-in-law, but he pleased the entire community at the retirement village. We were extremely pleased with his ability to accommodate our requests and his flexibility with the performance. We would highly recommend him. Bonnie Dufty, Boise, Idaho
Graduation Party•Reviewed on June 26, 2008•From Fort Bragg, NC
Mr. White has performed twice for the Ft. Bragg ESD Graduation & Military Recognition Ceremony. Each performance has added an air of sophistication and uniqueness to our event. Mr. White has been very accommodating each time asking what the preference for our audience is. Normally this audience is comprised of several high ranking officials from the military and civilian organizations, as well as our graduates and their family members. We've had praise from several of participants who thoroughly enjoyed Mr. White's processional and recessional tunes. I would highly recommend Mr. White as a performer at any event. Thank you Mr. White!
Funeral•Reviewed on June 17, 2008•From Raleigh, NC
My need for hiring Robert was an unfortunate circumstance. We were not sure of the date. Robert said he would be there to play for the funeral not to worry, just trust him. I had an idea of where and what he would play. He politely asked if he could make a suggestion. He heard what feeling I was going for and gave me a better plan and that is how the service went. The family felt embraced and the congregation thought he was wonderful. Also, Robert asked if it would be ok if he sat through the service. I thought this was very caring of him. Also I told Robert the colors we were wear in honor that day were pink and purple. That's what color his tie was. Thanks Robert!

Dear Robert,
There are "pipers" and there are "master pipers"; and, here - we are the judges and our fraternal band of brothers of the SCV at Morganton believe we've heard enough pipers to know a "master military piper" when we hear one which is what we heard from you as you piped in the rain for the funeral of one of Morganton's most prominent citizens.
Neither wind nor rain drove any one away, all with bent ears inclined they were intent, as you piped for WWII Navy veteran, Charles Gordon Tate, Jr.'s funeral. We look forward to a happier event to call on you again for highland sounds.
Jim and Greta Pierce,
and all at Col. Sam Tate SCV camp 836 & NC OCR #18

Robert did a wonderful job at the wedding ceremony. He was dressed to the nines in his formal attire, and according to my now husband has a very powerful set of lungs. We enjoyed having him as a part of our wedding because of his talent and professionalism. Robert accommodated our entire request list for the wedding. He arrived on time and played his bagpipe as my guest arrived to the church. Then he pied piped them back to the reception as I requested. It was awesome watching my guest follow him back to the reception site! If you are looking for a great bagpiper I highly recommend Robert. Thanks Again Robert for everything!
Sincerely
Traci Corrigan

Mr. White was extremely professional and did an excellent job with the music for our wedding ceremony. He was very helpful with song selections, and we could not have asked for more from his performance. It truly made our wedding memorable and was just what we wanted. I would highly recommend Mr. White to anyone considering him.

Absolutely perfect. There are no other words to describe the work that Mr. White performed. I hired him to play a wedding for me in April. Weddings are one of the most stressful times in ones life, and Robert made dealing with him as simple as it gets. I had complete faith in him as far as getting to the reception on time, and performing what we had talked about. I would, and will, use Mr. White again.
Convention•Reviewed on March 17, 2008•From Roanoke, VA
This performance was for an opening ceremony for a convention which had over 1,000 attendees. Robert's role included playing while moving among attendees, moving down steps while playing, and playing in frn of the auditorium. Timing was critical in the coordination of his playing, a color guard and the singing of the National Anthem. His professionalism and talent provided me with exactly what I needed. I could not have been more pleased, and he was an instant hit with the 1,000+ attendees. Jim Hall

Mr. White played at my sister funeral recently. She had always said she wanted bagpipes so it was extremely important to me to do this for her. Thanks be to God, Mr. White was available. He traveled over 100 miles one way and the bid for his services was very reasonable. When I mentioned how much he quoted us to our funeral director they were amazed and stated that some of the local bagpipers would have probably been more. He did a wonderful job and is a very talented individual. He was professional but also very compassionate. He even took time to pray for me at his church on the following Sunday and called to see if I was doing okay. I highly recommend him.

I had ask Mr. White to perform a couple songs for my wife's memorial service and when he was finished there was not a dry eye in the house. I am so thankful for Mr. White and what he did to help make the memorial service of my wife's respectful and fulfilling. I would recomend him to anyone, and I will!!
Church Service•Reviewed on January 13, 2008•From Red Springs, NC
Robert played my ordination service. His piping was excellent and filled the sanctuary with sacred music. I would definately recomend him for anyone wanting music for reflective purposes, times or joy in worship, or just to connect a body of believers to the faith of their ancestry. The Rev. Matthew A. Trask

My mother always loved bagpipe music, so it was fortuitous that we found Mr. White. His rendition of Amazing Grace and Danny Boy on the bagpipes were perfect for her memorial service. She surely must have been smiling down with appreciation.
If we ever have another occasion where bagpipe music is appropriate, we shall certainly hire him. I can't say enough good things about him, and we surely recommend him to others who are in need of his services.
Our four grandchildren ages 6 to 13 had never seen a bagpiper perform, so it was a special treat for them too.
Thank you Mr. White for making Mama's memorial service special.
Community Event•Reviewed on November 17, 2007•From Mebane, NC
Robert J. White was a wonderful new addition to our "Hometown Holiday Celebration" in Downtown Mebane! He participated in our tree lighting ceremony and then entertained our visitors with a mixture of Christmas and Scottish music following the ceremony. Everyone enjoyed Robert's performance immensely! His professionalism was of the highest order and his interaction with the crowds on the street was exactly what we hoped for. Many, many thanks Robert!
