Words can't really describe how prefect Thom's playing made our wedding day. With both of our families being of Scottish descent, a bagpiper was a must. Thom was extremely accommodating and very easy to work with. His flawless playing that lead us in as two separate people to leading us out as a married couple will be a memory that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Our guests were surprised and delighted to listen to the pipes during cocktail hour. I will recommend Thom to anyone and everyone that is looking for a bagpiper. I just can't thank Thom enough for making a special day just a little bit more special.

My experience with Tom Moore was excellent. He stayed in contact with me thru out the period between hiring him and the event. It was my husband's memorial service and Tom was fitting tribute to my husband. His playing was fantastic and his warmth as a person shone thru. of schedule, impeccability dressed like a professional bagpiper, and performed beautiful Irish songs
for our family. We were extremely happy with his performance and very glad that we picked Thom

Justin, I can't apologize enough for your experience!!! We performers book events weeks, months, and even years before the date, and sometimes "life happens." I could (should?) have simply canceled the event and let you choose someone else. My intention was to replace myself with someone whose excellent abilities I knew: John is one of the USA’s finest bagpipers and a world-renowned bagpiping judge! But obviously, despite these credentials, he simply couldn't "play the gig" properly. This is ultimately my fault. I want to offer you a full refund from my own pocket, plus, if you'll allow me, a free performance (by me, this time!) at a mutually agreeable day / time.

My husband was a curler and loved bagpipes, and I was looking for a special way to honor him and entertain our guests during the memorial service. Not only did Thom tailor the music and parade to my specification, he made sure I knew that his mini-pipe band was ready to perform “rain or shine”, and they were extensively experienced in competition and parading. I felt supremely confident that I had hired the right person for what was a difficult day, and was grateful for his professionalism. I would never hesitate to call Thom again, hopefully for happier circumstances next time.

Thom was fantastic throughout the whole process. Quick to respond, organized and very professional! I reached out about 10 months before our wedding to book, Thom and I discussed details during that time. A few weeks before the event, Thom reached out to me and confirmed our details. Of all the vendors I worked with during our wedding planning process, Thom was definitely one of the easiest! It was awesome having someone as detail oriented as I am to work with. Thom was incredible. Everyone at my wedding complimented us on his performance and appereance. My wife and I were so impressed with his music and his range of songs. Thom was great. He played on the steps of the church as guests arrived at our wedding. Thom's bagpipes marked the start of a very special day. My bride said that hearing the bagpipes as she arrived to the church made her arrival extra special. Thom was also incredibly easy to work with. With everything that has to happen at a wedding, it was great that Thom was self-sufficient. He showed up on time, started to play, and required no hand holding. We would absolutely recommend Thom to anyone who wants to add the extra special touch that comes with the bagpipes.

Thom communicated with us several times when we hired him in May. He made sure he understood the event, the venue and what we needed. We touched base a couple of days before our parents' Life Celebration on the final details. He showed up early and was dressed appropriately in costume. He was extremely pleasant and played for 20 minutes. His music was appropriate for the occasion and he was very professional. A nice touch was that he slowly walked away while playing the last piece so it effectively faded away and everyone knew it was time for the service. I would definitely recommend him.

I know that you meant to give me an overall rating of 5, but that like others of my beloved clients, your fingers fell victim to The Bash’s truly horrible “slider” star rating device! Anyone with adult fingers has a VERY hard time using this system, so no hard feelings! I’ve complained to The Bash about this system several times, but I guess their programmer thinks it’s just fine...????
