Absolutely outstanding! Hired the Robert Mabe band for a wedding reception. They arrived early to set up. Brought all of their own equipment (only had to provide electrical outlet for them to plug into). Incredibly talented musicians, they played a combo of their own stuff and some classics. Even took live requests from the crowd. The band made the entire evening and we received tons of compliments from our guests. 12/10 would hire again!

The Robert Mabe Band was a perfect fit for our St. Patrick's Day event. They showed up early, were easy about the space, brought the show (great lighting!), and played two great sets, elevating the day by playing some excellent bluegrass mixed in with some Irish classics on request. Robert was a pleasure to deal with, responsive and prompt, and, I thought, a genuinely decent person. Would recommend this band unreservedly to anyone.

I can not recommend the Robert Mabe Band enough. They were incredible. The number one thing my now wife and I wanted for our wedding was a band, and boy, did these guys deliver. Robert was accommodating to all our requests, helped with some on the fly changes when the caterer was late and we had to switch up the order of everything, and delivered a rocking show. It's the only wedding I've been to when the dance floor was full from beginning to end, to the point where our wedding guests were cheering for an encore. Thank you once again, and if you're looking for a band, pick these guys and you won't be disappointed!

We absolutely loved Robert Mabel’s band. He was very easy to communicate with while planning the gig. They were able to setup quickly and easily adapted their volume to the small “barn attic” space we were in. The quality of music was fantastic and many of our party guests were amazed, as I was.

They reached out to me immediately, called me the week before the event to go over my checklist and showed up on time. LOIVED, LOVED, LOVED their music.. We had a wedding party for 60 people and everyone kept commenting about the Band and how great they were! Even played"Here Comes the Bride" Thank youfor a wonderful event!

I watched their promo video and thought this band would be a great fit for our community gathering. My main job is in concert audio, and I work with bands every week. I've done high main stream bands and garage bands, Robert Mabe put on a performance that was breath taking amazing. His band's sound was like nothing anyone has heard, our audience was silent with anticipation of the band's next musical note. Before the show was over city officials asked me for their contact info to bring them in for next year's fair concert. This band is worth 10 times what they charge. They are the real deal and will blow away your audience. And yes we're bringing them back.

These guys were amazing! We had a corporate picnic, and they were the perfect complement to add incredible ambience and make memorable impressions for our teams. I would totally hire them again and most likely will do so for next year's summer picnic.

Dunlap & Mabe played at our wedding which we hosted on our property. The band was phenomenal and all of our guests enjoyed the music. They played a variety of music with their own bluegrass twist, it was so fun. They were able to accommodate all of our music requests for the ceremony and reception with ease. They handled our unorthodox venue with a cheerful spirit and we are so thankful we hired Dunlap & Mabe for our wedding. We would make the same choice over and again! Highly recommend.

Dunlap and Mabe were fantastic to work with and awesome entertainment for our wedding. They traveled quite a ways to our venue - from Virginia to Vermont!
Robert was accommodating, willing to go above and beyond what we initially asked working with a square dance caller for our wedding, and overall just blew us away with how great they were. They’re fantastic musicians, were great to work with, and genuinely made our day perfect. We would highly recommend them and absolutely would have them at another event.

Dunlap & Mabe was a perfect fit for our wedding of ~50 guests! They had great communication throughout the entire process, were on time and very professional. Even better, they offered a ton of flexibility as we changed our plan to include ceremony/ cocktail hour music. So glad we did because their instrumental music was perfect for the setting.
We received so many compliments from the guests, and they nailed our first-dance song request! Overall we were incredibly happy with the performance and would highly recommend.

Robert Mabe was the perfect choice for my wedding! He was very professional and easy to work with. He was very accommodating on my song selections. He set the perfect vibe for the ceremony and reception. My husband and I love traditional bluegrass and newgrass, which is Robert's specialty, but he is aware when not everyone is feeling that type of music. He also plays many covers of great rock and country classics that anyone can sing along with. We had to limit the number of guest at our wedding due to COVID and he was extremely accommodating. He played with two other musicians and there was a great dynamic. I cannot recommend Robert Mabe highly enough!

Wow, words can hardly describe our experience with the Robert Mabe Band. They were in one word, outstanding. The band was highly accommodating and communication was top notch. Fantastic musicians. We wanted a laid back but special vibe for my husband's 40th birthday party. Guests and neighbors all enjoyed the music - excellent. The band showed hours in advance, they were courteous and very professional. We'd definitely hire them again!
