Corporate FunctionReviewed on December 31, 2006From Chambersburg, PA

We hired the Knuckle Dusters for an annual holiday party (corporate function) with several hundred people attending. We wanted a versatile band that would appeal to folks of varying ages and backgrounds; after listening to their free music samples and watching videos at their website we decided to give them a try. The band met all of our needs, they were flexible with our performance times and other special requests, but more importantly they were a fun and talented group. Many of our guests shared positive comments and genuinely enjoyed themselves and the music. We plan to have them back next year. I recommend the Knuckle Dusters 100% for any function.

Family ReunionReviewed on September 15, 2009From Westminster, MD

The Knuckle Dusters always do a fine job at our chicken fry. We hold one at a private club and one on the family farm. We have used them now for the last 4 years.

:

Thanks Jim. You have been a gracious and giving patron these last few years. We appreciate your return business, as well as all your guests and family. The food is always great too.

Corporate FunctionReviewed on February 23, 2009From Shepherdstown, WV

:

Thanks for your rating John. This was a fantastic high profile event. We've played many corporate and community festivals/functions but this one takes the cake. Playing at The National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown WV, in a hall that holds 300 people was a delight. Many of the attendees were eager to greet us and compliment us on our talents. They were a fun and pleasant bunch, and seemed to genuinely enjoy our eclectic mix. And thanks for the provision of meals and drinks. This was an unexpected kindness and bonus. We hope you'll book us for your next centenial celebration, provided we all live another 100 years!

Mother's Day PartyReviewed on July 1, 2014From Washington, DC

What a great group! The event at our museum was wonderful and that was in large part to the Knuckle Dusters. We'll definitely have them back.

:

Thank you Katie & The Smithsonian Museum of American Art. What a great event to play for over Mother's Day weekend. Our mix of old time fiddle tunes, ragtime pieces and the Woody Guthrie songs the museum requested were very well received by the audience. Thanks for accommodating us so well with great stage and sound arrangements. We look forward to a return to The Smithsonian Institution. We were honored to play there.

FestivalReviewed on June 26, 2009From Lewes, DE

:

Thank you Bridget. It was great to be part of the 11th annual Chautauqua. Your 225+ tent crowd was great, and we really enjoyed the residents of Lewes Delaware, as well as the Historical Society's patrons. We sure would like to know how we could have done a better job, after driving 450 miles, arriving and starting on time, and holding your audience captive for an hour as they clapped and danced and gave us a very warm reception, thank you and applause. We played for half the fee we normally receive, and we even accepted your deposit a full month later than was promised/specified in the contract. Oh well, thanks again for the opportunity.

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on August 9, 2016From Gettysburg, PA

They were wonderful from the beginning to end. Everyone enjoyed their music!

:

Thank you Toni... What a wonderful wedding at The Lodges in Gettysburg, PA.! Thanks for including our duo line-up in your preceremony gathering, as well as in the ceremony itself and your cocktail hour. We're glad to have fully met your needs for such a special and memorable day. The guitar/mandolin/fiddle combo proved to be just the right thing in combination with the other entertainment. Good luck to the newlyweds!

Family ReunionReviewed on August 19, 2018From Little Orleans, MD

As a trio the Knuckle Dusters were perfect for our family reunion at the Town Hill B & B in Little Orleans MD. They did the necessary prep to be sure there were no surprises. Their price was appropriate. Their old time music was exactly what we expected. The sound system was just right. They had the children dancing in the night from the very first tune. A good time was had by all. Highly recommend!

:

Steve, thank you and your family for including us in your family's reunion. We love the hills of PA and Western MD ... And we're fellow river-rats too. Thanks for the hospitality, beautiful and scenic venue (The Town Hill Bed & Breakfast) ... And for just being great humans to celebrate life with and to play music for. Yes.... Kids crawling and dancing and swinging around with their parents and family is about as good as it gets. Thanks again, truly.... Scott Spearly & The Knuckle Sisters

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on November 22, 2018From McLean, VA

We were completely delighted and charmed by the Knuckle Dusters. I had been remiss in planning the music for my daughters wedding, and was making arrangements at the last minute. Scott Spearly was wonderfully accommodating. The band was wonderful, and received endless complements from all our guests.

CelebrationReviewed on October 22, 2018From Needmore, PA

The Knuckle Dusters are wonderful, talented, friendly and professional. Our family of 60 loved their music. Thanks so much guys! Scott also found a square dance Caller for us. She was great! She patiently led us through us through some simple dances to more difficult ones. She also was professional and friendly, and made the event a success. Thanks, Candy!

Community EventReviewed on September 12, 2018From Thurmont, MD

The Knuckle Dusters were great as a band and great as professionals. If we decide to get them to play at our venue again next year, we may set them up in a different location.
