Nancy and David are wonderful! Working with Leesburg String Ensemble for my wedding was seamless from the beginning to the end and I would hire them again in a heartbeat! During wedding planning, Nancy was very prompt with responding to my emails and incredibly accommodating with all my song requests! Not only did they accommodate my song requests, but they did an amazing job performing them! I was so wrapped up in everything on my wedding day, but hearing the song I requested following our ceremony played so wonderfully was so amazing! If you need a string ensemble for your event, HIRE THEM! TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Working with this fantastic group of professionals was the easiest part of our reception! They handled our requested playlist of songs from the 30s-60's with classical pieces mixed in beautifully. Many of our guests were pleasantly surprised to hear Love Me Tender and several other love songs played by the quartet. The performance was so wonderful I wish I had booked them for a longer time period! I was sad when the time ended. I recommend this group with all honesty as a great experience for any event although ours was a wedding reception. Very professional, accommodating and talented!! Thanks guys for making our day so much more than we could have expected!!

From beginning to end, working with Leesburg Strings was easy, professional and something that we did not have to "worry" about for the wedding of my daughter and her husband. They answered all questions quickly by email, were willing to meet with us if we wanted to, could play any and everything we requested, were agreeable at all times and...showed up and did a fabulous job. My daughter asked me a few days after the wedding exactly where they were located during the ceremony and we all started laughing! She had obviously had eyes only for her fiancee waiting at the end of the aisle but she did say that she could "hear" the beautiful music being played!

We were very impressed with Leesburg String Ensemble and so grateful that they could play for our wedding. We had a strings duo -- violin and viola -- and it sounded beautiful and went very nicely with our rustic barn wedding. We so appreciated that Nancy even came to the rehearsal free of charge.

The trio that was provided was great! Their music was magical and the flexibility of the players was great. We provided 2 parking spots for the group at our venue, and they were able to find the location and set up in time for our guests to arrive. Thank you to the Leesburg Ensemble.

Groom here: I cannot say enough great things about Leesburg String Ensemble. They were able to beat all other quotes, and Dave and Nancy were absolutely pleasant to work with. They were so accommodating, especially since I booked about two weeks before the wedding. Classical music for prelude and modern pop for the cocktail hour. I gave Mrs. Nancy a list of songs that were not on her already extensive song list and she was able to play them. Guest were baffled and then amazed when they heard a string ensemble play songs from the radio!! Thank you Leesburg String Ensemble for making our special day even more magical.

They were terrific! They played for the ceremony and the cocktail hour and they came through in spite of some difficult circumstances. When we planned the wedding months ago, we knew that the weather might be hot in September, but the ceremony was short and the venue said the musicians would be under a "big oak tree." Well, the bride and groom added extra things into the ceremony at the last minute, making the ceremony longer, and there was a big tree but that is not where they put the musicians. It was really HOT, but they did a great job! I highly recommend them.

The Leesburg Ensemble added a definite element of class to the overall event and singlehandedly
turned what would otherwise have been a typical, drab, lackluster wedding ceremony into a remarkable, extraordinary production that wowed one and all and created precious memories for the bride, groom, family and entire slate of guests. While their spectacular services did not come "cheap," it was exceedingly well worth every penny. I am so glad that they answered the solicitation. I would recommend them heartily and without reservation! Bravo, Bravo, Bravo!!!!!!!!

FANTASTIC. They worked with me to learn or play every song I wanted, even the obscure 80's prog rock song I wanted to walk down the aisle to. They were really great to work with and the music was excellent, lots of compliments. Would definitely recommend them highly!!

The Leesburg String Ensemble made my wedding day perfect! From the beginning there was clear and quick communication between us and them. Leesburg String Ensemble provided the music for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on March 22, 2014. I could not have been happier with their professionalism and performance! It is evident that they have been playing together for many years as they play fluidly and beautifully together! Nancy came to our rehearsal the day before the wedding free of charge in order to ensure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. Their prices are incredibly reasonable and they are prompt in responding to questions. They were well organized, helping to provide suggestions for music to play and played exactly what we requested. I would definitely recommend them!

From the first email from Nancy, my daughter, Megan, and I knew the Leesburg String Ensemble was going to be the perfect match for Megan and Matthew's wedding.
They were very flexible as far as music selections that Megan wanted for her special day. Nancy even came to the rehearsal, so she would know where they would be seated during the ceremony and cocktail hour.
I would recommend the Leesburg String ensemble to anyone having a special event.

Leesburg String Ensemble was fantastic! Nancy worked with us since the beginning to make sure all our music request were captured. The group arrived way ahead of time to set up. We received so many compliments from our guests and they requested that more music should be played. We originally booked Leesburg String Ensemble for three hours but the music played were so lovely that we asked if they could stay for additional hour and they were happy to do so. In conclusion, my wedding reception went very well and Leesburgn String Ensemble has a lot to do with it. They were very professional and committed to playing wonderful music. I will book them again 100%.
