The Space With the ability to host up to 34 people, The Kitchen Tables event space is well-appointed for intimate events. Wood furnishings and a wine barrel add a rustic touch while the room’s exposed brick accentuates the space’s original architectural features. This area is adaptable in its layout, with the ability to separate or combine two long tables for seating. The Experience The Kitchen Tables area offers patrons views of the open kitchen, allowing them to receive an interactive and lively culinary experience. Chefs Walter and Margarita Manzke have crafted an extensive seasonal menu that rotates periodically. Notable dishes include smoked salmon eclair, black truffle risotto, and Sonoma duck breast. For private events, these chefs are able to create a completely custom menu. The restaurant’s sommelier team can recommend the perfect beverage pairing, selecting from a list of over 2,2000 wines. The Story Republique is housed in a building that was originally built in 1928 for Charlie Chaplin to use for his offices. Initially designed to be a mixed-use space for shops and offices, the building has been used by various restaurants since 1989. When Walter and Margarita Manzke took over the building, they sought to showcase its original architectural features. Patrons will notice exposed brick, tiles, and ironwork throughout the restaurant.
