We love Jim! He played for both my wedding ceremony and the reception cocktail hour and first dance. He was seriously accommodating. My now husband and I wanted a song for our first dance to be personal and all ours. Jim worked up short versions of two candidates for us to review and finished our choice song on short notice! Additionally, we are not the best dancers and didn't seem to need as much song as we had him prepare. Jim gracefully ended the song so we weren't awkwardly turning circles for what seemed like forever. This guy is so talented and so nice! Would hire him again in a heartbeat and will continue to seek out his gigs at local restaurants!

Jim is an amazing, talented, professional, and friendly person. He was so easy to deal with. When looking for a guitarist we didn't know where to start. We weren't sure what songs to pick for our ceremony and we also weren't sure if we wanted music for our cocktail hour. When we weren't sure about certain things we would email him and he would send us "examples" of the songs via youtube. He wanted to make sure we were happy and he was always willing to help us any way he could. VERY talented. We are so happy we found Jim. He added so much character to our wedding. Received many compliments. Easy to hear! Book HIM! You will not be disappointed! Thanks Jim!

Jim was an absolute treasure. My fiancee and I were looking for a more simple but tasteful musician for our wedding and we learned about Jim from TheKnot.Com. After looking at Jim's reviews and previous performances, we knew that Jim Perona was the person for our ceremony and reception. After quick correspondence, he graciously met with us to discuss an overall tone of the performance we wanted. On the day of the wedding, he was prompt and his craftsmanship on guitar was fantastic. Jim Perona played guitar at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He was amazing. Joe and I spoke a few times prior to the wedding and he offered suggestions that were spot on. We listened to the samples on his website. We wanted a mix of traditional flamenco music and some modern and traditional songs for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. Joe’s version of “At Last” as we walked down the aisle was perfect. Our guests commented on how much they liked the music; Joe was entertaining, highly skilled and a pleasure to work with. I can’t stress the latter enough–not only is Joe highly talented, he was highly professional to work with as we planned our wedding.

I reached out to Jim on behalf of a client to provide Ceremony and Cocktail Reception entertainment. He immediately replied to me the same evening with pricing and availability. Throughout the entire planning process he was very helpful and responsive, he even learned a brand new theme song requested by the Bride and Groom for their entrance. Jim was absolutely fantastic! He was easy to communicate with, willing to learn songs that we wanted played at our ceremony, professional, on-time, friendly and extremely talented. He even coordinated with my cousin in New Jersey on a song she was singing. He played beautifully at the ceremony and the cocktail hour that followed. His music created the perfect ambience. After hearing him play someone even asked for his information because they wanted to book him for their wedding. I would recommend him to any bride and groom planning a wedding!

Jim was amazing throughout the entire planning process and our event. He and I corresponded several times over the months leading up to our wedding, and he was more than accommodating with every request and change that I asked him to make. Absolutely amazing to work with. During our event Jim went above and beyond as he played his loudest over the torrential down pour that occurred. I don't think anything could phase him. Jim did a wonderful job for our August 2013 wedding. He performed prelude, processional and recessional music for our ceremony and performed at our cocktail hour. Jim is so talented and very professional - we (and our guests) so enjoyed his music during our rehearsal dinner. Great attitude, so much talent, he added an extra level of awesome to kick off the wedding weekend.
