Jim was amazing! He was so easy to work with and extremely professional. He listened to what I wanted....and was able to offer tips and suggestions to help deliver a perfect performance at our wedding. Jim would be the ideal musician for any special occasion. I couldn't be more happy or impressed with his work!!!

Jim really added to the entire relaxed and tranquil feel of the wedding. He played a solo as I walked down the isle with my brothers and I thought it was so beautiful to just hear his guitar. Leading up to the wedding Jim was so helpful with selecting the songs. Immediately I was emailed a list of songs with links for me to listen to. Not having to figure out one more thing was amazing and made for a very stress free relationship with Jim. I think his talent and knowledge of customer service is what makes Jim one of the best musicians I could find. He truly loves what he does and is one of the nicest guitarists around.

Jim played guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour for our Wedding and he did a fantastic job! He showed up on time, was dressed professionally and the music was perfect! Working with Jim was very enjoyable. He was prompt in all email correspondence. He was easy to talk to and work with. He was extremely patient while helping us decide what music to go with. He personally met with us so we could hear the music in person and worked with us until we felt comfortable with the music selections. He is an extremely talented musician and really added a great dimension to our Wedding. Everyone loved him! I highly recommend him!!

Jim was extremely helpful with selecting songs. He sent video of sample songs and it was nice to hear the music before the wedding. He is organized and on top of things which helps during a busy and stressful planning process. He is very talented and made our ceremony awesome.

Jim provided the ceremony music to my wedding and he was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He consistently kept in touch via email and was willing to personalize my ceremony for a unique musical selection before during and after the ceremony. When I wanted to walk down the aisle to a song that he did not know, he personally made a beautiful arrangement of the song at no extra cost. I still have friends and family that compliment his beautiful playing. He was professional and at the same time made me feel that I was his only client and was completely focused on me throughout the entire wedding process.

My husband and I knew we wanted something different for our ceremony music and since we are both guitar lovers decided to hire an acoustic guitarist for our outdoor ceremony. From the moment we sat down with Jim, we knew he was the perfect fit for our wedding. He's incredibly talented, easy-going, open to ideas and extremely professional, which for any couple planning a wedding is a winning combination. He was more than willing to learn a song not originally in his repertoire because it was something my husband and I wanted included in our ceremony. I would not hesitate to hire Jim again for any event I was throwing in the Chicago area - we'd be lucky to have him.

Jim contacted me immediately after booking for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and was very kind and professional.
A couple weeks before the wedding, we talked with him about the songs we wanted, including a special request song for our processional. He accommodated this request perfectly and without hesitation.
He showed up early to set up his equipment, was very professional, and set the mood perfectly for our event.
All in all, one of the most memorable moments of my life was set to the soundtrack of Jim Perona and his guitar, and I couldn't be happier how it turned out.

Jim played our ceremony and cocktail hour. Everyone at the wedding loved his music (He can play anything). I can tell you his best attribute is his professionalism. He met with us, and went through the ceremony and cocktail music until we felt confident. We payed him before because we felt comfortable with him and wanted one less day of envelope. On the wedding day, He showed up on time and set up with out issue. Lastly Jim is the best value, I feel he could charge more and be worth it!

Jim is very talented performer and also a wonderful person to work with. Jim was very accommodating as soon as we had booked him! He was very responsive to all of our questions and our multiple request. Although, Jim has a very impressive list of songs he preforms he was willing to learn several new songs upon our request. At the last minute we had concerns about our unity song, uncertain if it would be too fast of a song for the purpose. Jim assured us he could slow the song down to be more appropriate for the ceremony. Within a couple hours Jim recreated the song and sent us a You Tube video of it. Jim was very professional and a pleasure to work with!

He made custom arrangements for all of our songs, used his expertise to make them sound amazing but adjusted things we requested, provided recordings for worst case scenario plans, travelled a far distance and arrived in a timely manner, and was overall professional and friendly. I didn't get to enjoy the pre-ceremony music but my guests said it was amazing and enjoyable. Jim was easy to work with when deciding certain ceremony music and accommodating to our requests / needs. Jim is amazing, this was the second time our company hired Jim for an Year End Celebration. Jim plays the guitar so beautiful, that the music is so soothing and you just want him to continue to play beyond the time you hired him for. I highly recommend Jim for any event you are planning. Jim played for our wedding in Oct 2012, and he is an all-around complete 5. There isn't a single negative thing I can think of to say about him, and with a wedding vendor how often can you say that?! He responds quickly to emails and calls, he learned how to play "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" for my walk down the aisle, his pricing was reasonable, he quickly adapts to any changes (in our case deciding last minute whether we were going to have the ceremony/cocktail hour outside or inside), he has a great personality, and best of all he plays beautifully. All my guests loved him. To sum up my experience, I want to throw another party just to have him play at it!
