Due to the fact that I was the Bride, I didn't get a chance to hear the group play the music during cocktail hour and guests coming in to the ceremony. I would have to say during the recessional, I had to focus for a second while walking down the isle to hear the music and they play beautifully. I asked friends and family members if they like the band and they were very pleased with the music. I was very pleased with the music. Susan was very professional communicating with me.

We booked Susan's string trio for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, as well as her jazz quartet for our reception. Susan is extremely talented and very accommodating in terms of the music selection and our budget. The string trio played a beautiful rendition of my favorite work of classical music (Clair de Lune) as I walked down the aisle, and she made an original jazz arrangement for my favorite pop song, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, for our last dance. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the music, and it really set the tone for the night!

Wonderful group! Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music was absolutely perfect, and Susan accommodated several special requests that I had for the processionals. So many of our guests commented on how professional and beautiful the music was. We can't recommend String of Pearls enough- you'll be very happy you hired them!

String of Pearls was the band for my Memorial Day 2018 garden brunch wedding! Since we love the violin and guitar instrumentals, so we hired their violin/guitar duo. I worked with Susan, who has decades of experience as a violinist, wa very professional and personable! She was responsive to messages and was easy to work with from day one and on all the details leading up to the day! She is great at suggesting songs and offering feedback on the flow of songs for the procession, ceremony, and recession. I really wanted to hear Carla Bruni's song Quelqu'un m'a dit for the procession, and the duo learned it in no time. Susan's team has a wide range! Highly recommend!

Even though we had some issues with our special requests, the group more than satisfied our needs. It was not for lack of trying to accommodate, we just made a couple of requests that couldn't be met. The group was extremely well prepared and talented. They made our outside venue pop!!

String of Pearls were stellar performers and lovely people as well! Dealing with all our various requests and guiding us to the ceremony that we envisioned was no small task. Susan was a wonderful collaborator and kept the booking and planning easy. They arrived well on time on a particularly hot and traffic-laden day. We had many compliments on their playing and, as the mother of the groom involved in the flurry of activity pre-ceremony, I especially appreciated their professionalism and easy-to-deal with vibe. We highly recommend String Of Pearls - they’re great!

Susan was fantastic! She and a celloist played at our wedding. She was very easy to work with: upfront, quick to respond, and flexible. When rain changed our plans, she picked up and played for our guests in the waiting area. The music was gorgeous and her pop music repertoire had people talking about it all evening. I was very impressed.

My wedding was everything I could have imagined thanks to String of Pearls. Susan was phenomenal to work with. We hired a vocalist (last minute) and Susan was incredibly gracious is working with us to get the information she needed to ensure the arrangements were perfect. I did not hear the preceremony music...but my guest RAVED about how classy and elegant the quartet was during the seating of guests. Thank you so much!

String of Pearls was absolutely the perfect addition to our wedding ceremony. Their musicality and professionalism were very evident throughout the process. Not only do they have an incredibly diverse profile of music they can play, they are very accommodating and responsive. They not only played classical music before, during, and after our ceremony, but they were able to throw in the James Bond theme for when our secret service ring bearer walked down the aisle (a huge hit with our guests). After the ceremony we kept hearing how wonderful they were from our guests. Would absolutely hire them again! Thank you String of Pearls!
