Cecilia Brauer, Armonica/Harmonium


Raymond Gniewek, violinist and concertmaster of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra since 1957, is the brother of Cecilia. He has played more than 100 operas with the leading conductors of the world, and has been heard in chamber music concerts with James Levine and colleagues from the orchestra.

Judith Blegen Gniewek, leading soprano of the Metropolitan Opera and wife of Raymond, has performed in the great opera houses of Vienna, Paris, Hamburg, and London, as well as summer festivals of Salzburg, Edinburgh, Spoleto, and Tanglewood. She was a frequent guest on the "Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson.
