Hello GigMasters readers! It's Dawn again from Not Just A Mommy. St. Patrick's Day isn't just about green beer and leprechauns, rainbows make a great party theme too. Here are a few of my favorite ideas guaranteed to make a statement at your party.

I'm a huge fan of clever invitations, they can set the tone for your entire event. Get the party started with this free printable from TomKat Studio...who is going to say 'no' to your party? Whenever I host a party, I love having a statement piece, a party focal point if you will. Garlands are so hot right now and I absolutely love Paiges Of Style's rainbow fabric backdrop; it is so easy to create and will definitely have your guests talking. She just used stripes of fabric and it only cost $8.  You could use wide ribbon as well.

Make your food table a rainbow hue of delight. Stacking a few of these nesting boxes from Studio DIY on your party table would make a great centerpiece. Set up a bar and serve an assortment of rainbow hued cocktails in clear containers à la Better Homes And Gardens and don't forget the garnishes - they turn a great drink into a fabulous one! Check out Oh My! Creative's tutorial on rainbow rimmers and clever candy shamrocks.

I love this idea from Life Made Delicious for a Rainbow Chicken Wraps's a great way to sneak in those veggies. No one ever wants to leave a great party, so be sure to always send them home with a smile. Last year, I created these rainbow hued candy tubes that would make perfect favors for the adults.  Send younger guests home with colorful dipped pretzels like these from Parents. Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
